The room felt very clean and comfortable, the staff at the desk and the breakfast staff seemed to like their jobs, and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we’ve had.

The room we were assigned when we got there smelled like something burned. When we turned the heat on there was a smell of fire and the smoke alarm went off. I called downstairs and the young clerk came up and pretty well thought it was dust in the furnace. I think she was hoping we would stay in the room. I asked for another room and they did put us in the room across the hall. Needless to say it will be a long time before we ever consider staying at a Holiday Express Inn again.

The bathroom had poop smeared on the wall above the toilet paper. Chaise lounge was full of stains. Mildew in the corners of the shower. We were over all completely disgusted and won't stay again. We came at 1:00 am, and if we weren't so exhausted, would have demanded a new room. I usually love staying at Holiday Inn Express. This was a complete waste of my money. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We booked in the wrong town. (GPS said it was near us). Found out at 10pm we were not at the correct hotel. Had to Book in Lexington as my 83 year old mother was melting down over it. lost out on the funds. Very annoyed with the no refund situation.
