Don’t stay here

It was the worse hotel experience I’ve ever had. From people running back and forth in front of the room to the internet and tv not working to the hair in the drain. Terrible night.

Arrived at the hotel to get our keys at 1:30 in the morning after already booking a room online and they overbooked and did not have a room available for us. So I was stranded at 1:30 in the morning with 2 children, no place to stay when all of the hotels were booked due to college move in. Staff was nice and helped me try to find another room, but they were unable to, so I had to drive over an hour to get a hotel room. Very disappointed in this experience.

When I arrived at midnight my room had a leak and there was water all over the floor. The night agent was nice but unable to provide me with another room and was unable to refund my money. She told me they would not let her process refunds. I had to find new accommodations at 12:30 AM and drive back the next morning to have my refund processed.

Our room was so humid. I stayed there for graduation from graduate school and went with my hair poofy from moisture and makeup messed up from never cooling off after my shower. We found food crumbs on the floor. There were bugs in the sink, the shower was stained and dirty, and a hole had been plastered in the bathroom. The plaster smelled horrendous. It made the entire bathroom smell. I was afraid it would make my cap and gown smell the same. The sheets didn’t seem very clean. I had my husband go buy me a pillowcase to sleep on. The one positive is the staff at check in/check out were very pleasant.

The smell of marijuana was all around the building and observed two people smoking it at different times. No parking on back side. Ice machine was broke. AC not the best.
