Bathroom needed updating. Toilet seat was awful and needed to be replaced. Beds and room were clean and updated. There were signs saying they were about to remodel the hotel so that will be great.

Loved it

We enjoyed our stay here. Only a few bad things to say. They do come in your room while you’re gone, the pool is small but it is heated and indoors , and the driveway to get In and out you gotta make a lot of u-turns depending on your direction of travel. However the beds were comfortable I could stretch out in the bathtub, it had two queens plus a fold out couch! Cheaper than other hotels and bigger room on game day. The staff was super friendly. Made some new friends while there. Breakfast was ok, but this was the first place I’ve found that has apple jelly!!!! Not even Waffle House gives apple. They have trollies to carry your luggage up which is nice. Love the cold AC constant fan. They even supplied us with extra blankets and towels when asked with no hesitation and plates. So much better than their neighbor la Quinta. I’d choose this place a million times over again.

Out Comfort

The first hotel room had roaches in it. I told the staff and they changed my room. The next room had problems with the sink. The water pressure was low and the drain was clogged. Also, there was only 10 channels on the tv versus the previous room had hundreds of channels.

We came into town for an Alabama game. It was late when we arrived. Got to our room on the second floor, once we fought with the card reader to finally get in, we were greeted with the worst, stale, moldy smell. I quickly turned to air on to try and help. We started unpacking and getting the pull out couch ready for our kids but as soon as we took the cushions off, the mattress was COVERED in surface mold. My husband, who will never even send food back in a restaurant, went down stairs to politely ask for another room. The lady at the front desk was always soooo nice and friendly. We got another room on the third floor. SAME THING. Probably a little worse honestly. We just sucked it up because we have small kids and it was already so late. Went and bought a blow up mattress. These rooms are soooo wet feeling and damp. We also had to go and buy cheap blankets because the beds felt wet, putting our change of clothes on the second day, and they felt wet after being in the room. No wonder there’s mold everywhere. We had family stay in a room on the first floor and supposedly their room was even worse. And they got a night free because a worker was super to ugly and confrontational to them and it got caught on camera. Anyways, not sure how this place has such good ratings. Would never stay here again.
