Despite booking a water slide/pool birthday party, we were never informed that it was broken. Offered no discounts. Pool was absolutely freezing. All of the kids spent the entire bday party in a tiny hot tub. Very disappointing

General condition of the hotel very poor. Definitely not a 8 star rating. Not as per the reviews. Paid far too much for what it was. I don’t think I can trust your rating system any more.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We were greeted with a sign that said the water slide was "out of order". The front desk agent informed us that it had been broken down for a while and it would be a couple of months before it was fixed. This was a huge letdown as this was the reason we booked this hotel. The hotel was filthy dirty with stains all over the carpets, dirty walls, and a foul odor. There were dents/dings, and missing paint all throughout. This facility is dark and dreary and in dire need of an update. We did not have hot water in our room for the first 2/4 nights. They finally moved us after the second night. The food was terrible. The juice machine was "out of order". The milk sat in a pitcher at room temperature. There were no spoons for cereal or yougurt. My son went and asked the front desk agent for a spoon and she came and looked in the dirty cutlery basin and said "they might be here" then walked away. The pool was feeezing cold, and the hot tub was luke-warm at best. The ventilation in the pool area was not working, so it was very humid/musky and there was rust everywhere. Unfortunately, I really can not think of anything positive to say about this hotel. I highy recommend that nobody stay here EVER!

Clean rooms - friendly staff - dirty hallways and stairs, needs regular vacuuming - dirty pool area, needs power washing - hot tub full of sand - hot tub chemicals burned my eyes when jets were on - water slide never worked - breakfast area dirty, needs vacuuming - lacking a lot of breakfast food, most things out of stock, no milk, no juice, no coffee, bagels and break nearly gone.

Bit of a road trip

Decent room but lacking dishes and adequate kitchen equipment. Clean and convenient. Sadly, the pool was ICE COLD and the hot tub had so much chlorine my eyes were burning and I had to leave right away.

Staff was nice. Almost everything was broken from the tap on the water jug in the breakfast room, to the waffle machine, as well as the stove in our kitchenette (both burners as well as the knob to turn one burner on). The pool was absolutely freezing, the kids couldn’t even jump in without running straight back to the hottub. The pool area itself was freezing, if you plan to sit and watch you’ll want shoes and a coat. Ontop of the pool situation the hottub was warm at best. My 3 children lasted all of 15 minutes before we were running back to our room for a hot shower. The plave has a lot of potential if some effort was actually put in.

Not a bad place, the pool side is noisy with children until 10pm. The street side is noisy with the train. This our second time staying here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Walking distance to grocery, liquor store. Lots of free parking.

A decent budget-friendly option, but it has some quirks. The pool is definitely geared towards families with young children – it's more of a splash pad than a lap pool. The gym is, shall we say, 'compact.' It's basically a glorified broom closet with a treadmill and a few weights. Breakfast is pretty basic, your standard continental fare with toast, muffins, and a waffle maker. Nothing fancy, but it'll hold you over until you can find a proper breakfast spot. The biggest downside for me was the fridge in my room. It sounded like a small engine was running all night. I'm a light sleeper, so it definitely impacted my sleep quality. Overall, a serviceable place to stay if you're on a budget and don't have high expectations. It's clean and comfortable enough, but don't expect luxury."

The Hot Tub wasnt working for the first 3 nights i was there. I booked this hotel to use the hot tub after skiing. i extended my stay an extra night and it was working the last day. Was told that maintenance was working on it cause it was leaking. My tv in the room didnt work great had to unplug it from the wall to shut it off could not adjust the volume. I let the front desk know of the issue after the first night. No change in it. The room itself was good bed was comfy had a kitchenette built in. And a good breakfast. Was there over Christmas not much open for dining options for a few days around then.
