I really have no opinion on the property. When we arrived to check in, we were told there was no water throughout the hotel. I understand now it had been the case for more than 24 hours. Would have been good to know before arrival. As it was they transferred us to a close by Holiday Inn where we spent the 4 nights. We never stayed at the Crowne Plaza.

The worst experience

We have stayed here twice per year for 4 days at a time for 5 years whilst on business with 2 rooms each time, we have always found it a pleasant experience. This visit was eventful with the hotel having a burst water main. Whilst we understand this is a difficult situation it was handled poorly from start to finish hence our rating. We had to endure a full day and a half before being relocated with no water supply except 2 small bottles of water, no way to shower no flushing toilet and no breakfast or beverages Whilst the staff did their best with what they were allowed to do the management was less than helpful, on several occasions promises and phone calls did not happen. We were left with no option but to cancel and make our own arrangements for alternate accommodation which was very difficult, stressful and resulted in rearranging and cancelling some of our business trip costing us an extra day of travel and extra to rearrange flights. For others they were not as fortunate and had no options, a few stayed with no water for over 2 days.

Poor quality service and lack of concern for people who are needing to make it on flights. The shuttles were often too full to get on and caused a lot of issues. Towels always had to be requested as there wasn’t even enough provided in the room for number of guests. Pool was not operating and the breakfast was not included. $26.00 for a mediocre buffet. Outrageous.

The hotel didn't have water. The front desk charged $5 per bottle of water when it should have been complimentary. Also left headphones in the room and the hotel WOULD NOT help me get them back. Had to buy new ones. Staff were not helpful at all.

The property was undergoing exterior construction, and both the driveway and parking lot were poorly lit, creating unsafe conditions. The hallway carpets were noticeably dirty. During our stay, the bedside electrical outlet stopped working, and there was also a cable TV outage. Most critically, the water supply was cut off, leaving guests unable to use the bathroom or take a shower. The customer service team appeared uninformed about the facility's recovery efforts and offered no support in arranging alternate accommodations. The issue began on Saturday night due to flooding in the basement, yet guests were not notified about the possibility of a water outage. Instead, the hotel only communicated the situation after guests began to complain, leaving us without sufficient time or help to relocate. To make matters worse, we were nearly charged a late checkout fee despite being in line within the designated checkout period. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing—especially as it occurred on the final day of our trip. A significant portion of the day was lost due to the hotel's delayed response and poor communication. Management made no effort to address or resolve guests’ concerns, further compounding the negative experience.
