Property is spacious and a few blocks' walk to the train station and town centre, which is handy. It is located in a largely residential area, which is pretty quiet and felt reasonably safe at night, and is close to a large park. The parking space was nice to have at times, as the street parking out front is permit only at certain times of the day and it was often difficult to find a parking space otherwise. But the space is quite difficult/inconvenient to access, especially when cars are parked in front of the adjacent building - then the space is entirely inaccessible. The property is plenty spacious and gets lots of light in the large windows throughout, but it is in a pretty shabby state and is very bare bones. For example, we arrived to find cooking utensils lacking (i.e. not a single spatula), toaster and counter covered in crumbs from previous guests, windows cracked, walls and ceilings damaged, curtains hanging off the rods and in need of repair, etc... We fixed and cleaned a few things that needed doing during our stay purchased additional items that we found lacking, so it was not in such a state that it was uninhabitable, but certainly not in any condition that should be expecting guests. We managed fine with the stay overall, and the location was convenient for our trip, but cannot say that we would be in any hurry to return or recommend to others.
