Terrible Experience

The host refused to grant access until I signed a power of attorney agreement “for insurance purposes”, despite it not being in the rental agreement. The apartment building is dilapidated. Inside, it smelled like urine and the refrigerator did not work. We found several dirty dishes put away in the cabinet with food and mold on them, which had us questioning the cleanliness of the entire apartment. Also, the apartment is far more cramped than the pictures lead us to believe. We ended up leaving within an hour of arrival due to the unsuitable conditions. We only received a small refund from the property manager for the issues noted above. This place should be avoided like the plague.
