Front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. if it rains, you can ask the front desk for an umbrella to borrow! I loved that they provided this! They also provide a few amenities like toothpaste, shower cap, etc, in case you forgot these. House keeping was amazing at cleaning rooms, really appreciate that they try to be environmentally conscious, and only do a deep full cleaning every 3 days! I loved how each floor has a common space for people to hang out in, each floor has a water filler and ice machine. One floor has washer and dryer (need 100 yen coins, if you don't have this change, front desk will happily provide change!). Big plus, they have a decently sized elevator!! While we were here, there was a earthquake in northern Japan, but staff was quick to notify everyone that there should be no concern. Very comforting! I loved the room as well! I was able to get a two bed room, that was very spacious! As opposed to a one bed room. The bathroom was super nice and spacious too! Location: I thought I saw that we could see Godzilla, but I couldn't from my room. Otherwise, location was great! Quick 10min walk to multiple Shinjuku train stops! Perfectly convenient to be right above a Lawson, and steps away from a 7/11. I will caution, that this hotel is lovely, but it's backyard is Golden Gai, which is a late night bar strip, so it may not be the best for family with young children, as you'll see many bars and clubs right outside and drunk people. A very lively area!
