The host was a great communicator. It appears they are unaware of damage that has been done to the home. I sent them pictures when we checked in. They were going to have their handyman come over and fix things after we left. They did send a handyman to fix a broken leg on the sofa but there was only so much he could do to make it usable. Therefore only one person could sit on it and on one side otherwise it would collapse on the floor. A child could sit on the one side after the leg was “repaired” but it wasn’t stable. (The handyman was going to take the sofa in for repair after we left. That didn’t help us though as there was limited furniture in the living room.)There was a hole in the wall downstairs and on other wall there was a terrible crack becoming a hole that was large. The upstairs bedroom had a bench that was designed to be sat on but it also had a broken leg. The beds are very comfortable however the whole house smelled of mildew. That may be pretty normal though for a mountain home.The homeowners were very responsive. I sincerely feel like they just aren’t aware and have not been in the home recently. I would not recommend this home. The photos do not show its true condition. Perhaps at one point they did but not now. I attached a few photos that showed the damage. Again, I think the homeowner was just unaware until I sent these to them. I did not attach photos of the broken furniture.
