Termoli with its medieval village gathered around the Swabian Castle of Frederick II and the Romanesque Cathedral, the high walls overlooking the sea and port with embarkation for the Tremiti Islands.
The cuisine is excellent with its fish dishes.
A few kilometers away there is an unspoiled nature landscape like the LIPU Oasis of Casacalenda, the Samnite theater of Pietrabbondante, the National Park of Abruzzo, Molise and Lazio. Possible art excursions to Sepino with the city of Altilia, the Benedictine Abbey of S. Vincenzo al Volturno.
Absolutely to visit Agnone where there is the oldest known bell foundry, the Pontifical Marinelli Foundry, the only one active among those which gave life to the dynasties of the numerous bell founders, who for centuries handed down this art.
At 80 km. you can reach S. Giovanni Rotondo.
