We've been staying here for 4 years now and although the rooms are still good, the facilities are dwindling, ie. No nice chairs in garden area, cannot connect to Netflix, only basic satellite tv. Rooms are not serviced at weekends. Also, price has jump NZ$100 in 2 years.

Compact, refurbished property. Well finished. Lake front and walks across the road. Only downside was that the lounge seating - bucket chairs - was not comfortable. a nice lounge sofa would be better.

Stayed here a few times and this room ( superior / upgraded rooms) was a lot fresher than the Standard one. Te anau is a very seasonal place and so the premium prices in peak hiking season may seem off comparing against property elsewhere. Great thing that it has a nice bed ( I like medium firm), shower, and the location is perfect for a lakefront stroll. Unfortunately the last few nights stayed there had been not reception team on deck but a friendly message that they’re short staffed. I understand, but I hope you find a team one day soon.
