Pros: Manager and staff were friendly. Queen beds were comfortable. Shower was nice. Location is convenient to Tampa, MacDill AFB, and St. Petersburg. Cons: I reserved for 5 people but was still charged extra for a rollaway bed. Pool was closed (and gross) until several days into our stay. Fitness Center was also closed— sign on door says to ask staff about arrangement with LA Fitness (no, thanks— inconvenient). WIFI was very slow— finally gave up and set up a hotspot from my own data. The bathrooms don’t have ventilation fans (manager said it’s one big connected system (?!)). Our overhead bathroom light was not working, so thinking that it was supposed to be a heat lamp, I asked about it. While they were fixing it, they must have dropped tge glass cover for it because it wasn’t fixed and we found glass shards all over the bathroom floor. The “breakfast” consists of a brown bag with a water, granola bar, small muffin, and a small OJ. I get that it’s COVID, but sometimes it feels like an excuse. (Restaurants and even amusement parks are open….) I’d say the same thing for no daily housekeeping. Not crazy about having to ask for towels and daily essentials. (Shrugs.) if none of the above bothers you, you’ll probably have a great stay.

The property was just OK and quiet. Breakfast was exactly the same each day in a bag. The coffee in the room was worse than anything I've ever tasted and it was all that was offered. I went out and bought a small coffee pot and coffee. My dog was happy though and that's important.

Smelly and dirty. Had to ask for a different room because musty smell was so bad. The room we did stay in had mold on the ceiling. Definitely threw my money away on this stat. Very very dissappointing.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet, fridge & microwave, comfy bed

Needs Improvements

Extremely noisy. Bathroom smells funky-dirty and floor sticky-dirty. Bathroom vent does NOT work. Took several calls and 2 trips to front desk to get hi-speed internet to work. Instructions on room phone for local calls: ""Dial 9 + 813 + phone number."" Do NOT follow printed direction; dial 9 + phone number. Went to breakfast at 7:10 a.m. Waffles and pancakes were kept in a metal bread box and were stone cold. $121 for 2 people. No discounts for the military. Checked nearby motels with comparable amenities.
