The overall experience at this hotel was below expectations, and there are several issues that should be taken into consideration for future bookings:
• Outdated Facilities: Both the elevator and guest floor areas appear significantly aged and in need of renovation. The overall condition of the infrastructure detracted from the sense of comfort and quality.
• Inadequate Room Cleanliness: The cleanliness standard did not meet expectations. The room floor was visibly dusty and had dirt buildup, suggesting that housekeeping was not thorough. This raises concerns about hygiene and maintenance standards.
• Unpleasant Smoke Odor at Night: A strong smell of cigarette smoke was present in the room during the evening. This is likely due to other guests smoking on the floor, and indicates poor enforcement of the hotel’s non-smoking policy. It severely impacted sleep quality and overall comfort.
Recommendation:
When selecting future accommodations, it is advised to prioritize hotels with well-maintained facilities and strict enforcement of non-smoking policies. Cleanliness and air quality are fundamental to a comfortable stay, and should not be compromised.
