This is a fantastic apartment for a Sun Peaks ski trip. It’s large and very well equipped with a great kitchen. Commonly used items were included, things like salt & pepper, herbs, cling wrap, laundry liquid etc.
Ski in/ ski out is only possible when all the runs are open. At other times you’ll have to walk to a lift or there’s a shuttle stop out front. Shuttle services are infrequent (hourly at best).
Pros
* Clear and responsive communication with owner who was very accommodating when our airline changed our flights.
* Big spa.
* Great kitchen, including a range of the basics.
* Two bathrooms.
* In room washer/drier.
Cons
* Two flights of stairs to reach the apartment.
* A service company checks the spa every 2-3 days, so someone will be accessing the apartment during your stay.
* There’s no industrial bin on site and you have to message the owner to have your rubbish collected.
Expert tip:
There’s only one small mini-mart in Sun Peaks and it’s expensive. For stays longer than a few days consider an online shopping order which can be delivered by Sun Peaks Cargo.
Overall:
This is a well appointed apartment that’s big enough for a family, ten minute walk to the main village. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when in Sun Peaks. 9/10.
