Old Mystic, the "original Mystic," was a regular stopping point for stagecoaches on their New London-Providence runs. On January 17, 1840, former Secretary of State Daniel Webster, traveling by sleigh, stopped in for a drink at the Williams Home property, our adjacent home, on his way to the Groton Ferry to catch a boat to New York! It is said that George Washington slept in the house across the street, and Abraham Lincoln may have spent time in the house next door! If only these wonderful homes could whisper tales of the past~ what would they say?

Wonderful Stay for Families
My family and I had a great stay in the Chandler's Nook. The decor was pretty spectacular and the apartment was equipped anything you needed. The beds were so comfortable and we especially loved having the playground behind the property. The location was great as well. Just a few minutes drive to all of the attractions of Mystic.

Cozy times at the Chandler
My family and I had a wonderful time at the Chandler. The apartment was very clean, well stocked and decorated with flair! Debbie was so communicative and helpful and you can tell they really care to make your experience special. We especially enjoyed using the grounds and used the fire pit twice and made great memories with our son.

Fell in Love
What started as just a place to stay for my daughter’s cheer comp turned into a bonding experience in a place we never wanted to leave. I can’t say enough about this treasure of a place. Every detail has been covered and the thoughtfulness is bursting at the seems. The beds, we agreed, were the most comfortable we ever slept in. The hosts were thorough and communicative. I would give more stars if I could. We can’t wait to go back.

Fall fun in Stonington
Our family of 3 had a wonderful stay at this property! Everything was exactly as described. Super cute property! The property was spotless, beds were comfy, and we had absolutely everything we needed. Our hosts checked in with us via text a couple of times to make sure we were all set. We look forward to staying there again soon.

Great family retreat
We spent 2 nights in this lovely space. I liked that it had a real homey feel, decorated in a nautical theme with a lot of attention to detail. As a cook I appreciated the fully stocked kitchen with all the utensils, pots and pans you could need. Communication was great, the hosts left us some apple pie and fresh cream...,a very nice touch. Plenty of room for me, my wife and 2 teenage children. Much better than a cramped hotel room at a similar price.

Charming and comfortable stay!
Wow, we loved our stay at the Chandler Apartment! Easy to check in, LOTS of space for the 3 of us, and so thoroughly decorated with a seaport theme. The couch was large and inviting, the kitchen had absolutely everything you might need, and the beds were super comfortable. Debbie left us warm apple pie in the dining room, and there were so many charming details to discover in the apartment (which was immaculately clean). Lots of Keurig coffees for the morning too. Wish we had stayed longer to take advantage of the outdoor fire pit and lawn games area, but we would definitely stay here again!

Mystic Gold
Debbi and Paul have a great property. Well appointed. There was real cream for coffee and fresh apple pie slices. The apartment was clean and finding the property in the dark was easy. Check-in and out were seamless. The apartment is near all the attractions. We were in town for a family reunion and having this accomodation made it perfect.

Comfortable and quiet spot near mystic
We loved staying at this property. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything you could ever need for a pleasant stay. The rooms were very clean and the apartment and property were quiet. We were close to all of the sights in Mystic but had a quiet, relaxing spot for the evenings. The owner provided very clear check-in and check-out instructions that were simple and clear and made everything easy. Thank you for sharing your property with us - we had a wonderful time and enjoyed it so much!

Perfect family vacation
I came here with my husband and school aged son and we had a blast. Meals around the antique table, movies every night while lounging on the sectional, a quick drive to the aquarium, Olde Mystic Village, the Seaport Museum and downtown ... Perfect! I've stayed in a lot of Vrbos and while all lovely, the hosts had a gross absenteeism. Debbie and Paul were available by text and checked in after our first evening there. The check out process was so bare bones it had the sense of being a boutique hotel, not a short term rental. Loved it!
