No parking available...Was forced to valet $26. Typical Millennial customer service...no information on anything i need to do for valet. just assumed that i would find a non-present valet attendant to submit my car to.

The room lacked a mini frig, that was a disappointment. The up close mirror in bathroom was broken & hanging off the wall. The shower head was broken as well. The wallpaper in bathroom was very discolored. The mattress seemed to be worn & very squeaky. The room definitely needed a facelift. On a positive note. Amanda from customer service was awesome and very helpful & Jean from valet always had a smile on & very accommodating. The rest of the staff throughout the hotel all were pleasant & said hello & smiled when I passed them. I wouldn’t go back solely because of room conditions.

Room was clean. Construction taking place in lobby but well contained. Food and service was excellent. Staff was very warm, helpful and pleasant. Absolutely would return and recommend to others.

nice hotel near train station to NYC

Pros: indoor pool, nice grounds
Cons: turn pool temperature up, could of had maps and train schedule to NYC, although when I asked about times, the young lady at desk googled it for me
Location: took train into NYC to go shopping and sightseeing
Very nice stay, everyone was very friendly and helpful, Pool could have been a little warmer

Be careful of hidden costs

Location: Restaurants and bars are all close all within 5 mile radius.
I booked because it was a discount, they offered bed & breakfast but you have to go down to their lobby that's under construction. Had to pay for parking, should've just paid for the other hotel. Rooms are very tight, doors were chipping, little flies in the bathroom. Very disappointing. People are great, smile and full of energy.

No frills hotel

Everything works well in this hotel. For a family with small kids, it's nice that it has an indoor pool. (Only negative comment was that nobody seemed to monitor the pool because all the other kids were diving head first over a 2-day period, and I didn't see anybody enforce the no-diving rule.) The shuttle service to and from downtown Stamford (where all the restaurants are located) is a nice perk. When we were there last weekend, construction was going on the lower floors (2-3) so you can hear drilling all day even on the 10th floor.

!st time disappointed at a Hilton hotel

Pros: the restaurant was very good and the staff in the restaurant was very good
Cons: Call back your clients when there's a problem. Give people the room they paid for.
Location: Not much to say
We reserved a room with a king size bed when we arrived they told us because there's a very large wedding going on they don't have a king size bed for us all they have is two queen size beds (my room was already paid for in advance) In our room only one of the three lights in the bathroom worked. Small inconvenience. We went to the pool which one of the ladders was broken and there were no towels. When we returned to our room at 7:30 we realized they placed us directly above the outside wedding reception the music was deafening I called the front desk and they apologized and told me it will be over at 11:00 I asked to be moved they said they couldn't I asked for a manager they put me on hold for 15 minutes. Chris came back on and said he couldn't find the manager but he will have him call my room when he gets back. No call back came. This was a real bad experience and that made it worst. Why didn't they put the wedding guest in those rooms?

Nice hotel staff not very helpful

Parking is a disaster and I got 6 different parking instructions which were all confusing and then there no staff in the actual lot to help me. Also at check in no one told us where the elevators were which sounds ridiculous but they are in a fairly weird hidden spot so we were carrying our bags around like idiots looking for the elevators to the rooms. Until another guest had to help us after we walked into their bat mitzvah. Also our duvet cover was not covering our duvet it was just laying on top of it... Hotel and tooms are beautiful but reception and parking needs more attention

Hotel crammed between railroad tracks and highrise

Pros: It was close to the home where we had our family reunion.
Cons: No cooking in the open restaurant in the main hall.
Location: Unfortunately, the hotel was not walking distance from any restaurant or shop.
Once you are in the Hotel it has a welcoming appeal. That changes when loud wedding guests review the wedding in the hallway outside of your room late at night. Coming down to the ground floor the following morning the entire floor, including the reception area and main entrance smell of cooking, thanks to the breakfast chef hard at work behind his open station.
