After the 6 Hour Drive and having to time it out for a 4 pm check in we just wanted to settle in for the evening. Instead, we had to try to find a way in the house, The key pad wouldn’t function and the wrong back up key was in the shed. We had to wait for the locksmith, - it was such an inconvenient start which we couldn’t recover from. The keypad only worked sometimes even after the locksmith, and so we put the keys on the counter except for one which we had to use to lock the door when we left. After the difficult entry into the home on Thursday evening, at 8 PM to 830 there was a gal mowing and blowing for a half an hour all around the house very loudly very disturbing. It seems like that could’ve been done earlier. A couple of the remote controls to the TV’s had to have batteries replaced in them because they were corroded. The TVs were difficult to maneuver, especially the living room one. We kept on having to turn on and off the power strip. The one in the bedroom did not work at all. The sliding glass door was so difficult to open and close. My husband had to do it. The second day began with the sound of someone roofing their house across the street. All the noise was ridiculous. It went on all day. In addition, Saint Simons Island was surprisingly loud and busy. Not relaxing at all, there was so much traffic that we could barely walk our dogs and everyone was speeding.
