This is an overpriced property. It is old and many of the facilities are in poor shape. Our toilet broke from old age leaving us with a toilet for over 12 hours. The stove is really not functional. The beds were awful. We would never stay here again.

Bob thank you so much for your review. On the day you checked in you were trying to cancel the last two nights of your non-refundable reservation. We offered to attempt to re-rent the nights (which is not likely during this time of year) but you decided you would stay. You and your buddy really seemed to enjoy yourselves -taking advantage of our beautiful outdoor kitchen/ bbq grill, dining and lounging in your private garden area. You complained that you were a chef and our kitchen equipment was not to your standards. We did manage to provide you with the meat thermometer you requested and a cast iron skillet although the size was not to your liking. Your toilet had a minor flapper issue which is extremely common in toilets and easily fixed. It was late at night when you reported it to our staff who immediately came to the room and provided a temporary fix. It was quickly fixed the next morning which still didn't seem to satisfy you as you kept asking why we didn't call an emergency plumber. The property is far from "old" as it was completely renovated and is one of the highest rated, most sought after properties in Pass-a-Grille. We have a waiting list for the two bedroom unit which is in beautiful condition. The photos on Expedia and on our own site are very current so anyone reading this review can judge for themselves. We strive to provide our wonderful guests with a comfortable, extremely clean place to stay with excellent amenities such as free use of beach cruiser bicycles and kayaks, heated pool, very attentive and accommodating staff and one of the most beautiful locations in the world just steps to the beach. We are just fine with you not staying here again but we certainly hope your poor review does not deter others from a mostly magical experience.

What a beautiful little getaway, hidden in the middle of a piece of paradise! Felt so comfortable and welcoming. Will be going back!
