The hotel seems like it’s trying its best but still falls short. There’s homeless sleeping across the street. The valet are also security guards for the hotel. Multiple security guards, which gives a bad feeling about the area. Valet area no clearly visible so you might end up parking the overpriced lots charging $40 a night for parking. Unsupervised kids running in socks around the lobby. The elevator lobby area in every floor is decrepit and creepy. Gets better once you get to hallways with rooms but then the stench of cigarette smoke starts.

I will say the area felt a bit unsafe. There is a valet parking fee that feels mandatory; otherwise, street parking is hourly and can be risky. The staff were very nice and accommodating when we needed to check out early, which I greatly appreciated. Breakfast was fairly average, but the room was clean. The hotel is dog-friendly, which we appreciated.

The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Breakfast was always chaotic and busy, but the staff did a good job of cleaning and keeping the food stocked. It was nice having a Belgian waffle maker. The staff were friendly and helpful. The gym was big and had a lot of great equipment. The only complaint (small one) I had was that the Peloton's were not working.

This hotel had a friendly staff, a good free breakfast and is a clean, well maintained hotel. It is an easy 8-10 minute walk to the Convention Center from the property. Within steps of the property are a good Mexican restaurant, Rosalita's Cantina and a solid bar, Hair of the Dog.

I’ve stayed at several different Tru’s and this was by far the worst one. The room looked as if it was never cleaned, the bathroom was dirty, they didn’t even provide us with one seat of full towels. The outside of the property reeked and it was homeless people everywhere.

Very calm and helpful front desk

Shay at the front desk was amazing. She answered so many questions/issues that I was having. She was never anything but polite and I truly wouldn’t have blamed her if she was annoyed as I was annoyed with my own confusion.
