Hotel in downtown

Pros: Nothing!!!
Cons: No
It was a terrible experience I ever had. The hotel doesn't have even one-star quality, but Travelocity gave 4 stars when I made a reservation. Breakfast was served in the literality broken restaurant and ceiling in the lobby was broken. It is not supposed to be opened.

Travelocity 4 Star is a 2 Star at Best

We spent 2 nights at this hotel because all the name brand hotels in St. Louis were booked for a convention. Travelocity had it as a 4 star. The price was high, $250 per night. We arrived about 9:00 p.m. The desk clerk was a manager. He seemed to be the only person working in a 300 room hotel. He put us in the weirdest suite I have ever stayed in. It had a huge sitting area with chairs with broken arms, trash that had not been cleaned, a dining table and a kitchen. Then, it had two small rooms off that suite area. This set up was uncomfortable for me and my female employee and the look was shabby. The rooms were the kicker. The toilet in her room ran all night and the shower was broken in mine the next morning. Then, when we returned from work that evening, the air was out in my room. At 6:00 p.m. they said they had no maintenance staff. I had to change rooms. I spent over $1000 for 2 nights and felt like it might have been worth $100 a night. I asked for the manager when I checked out, but they never showed. The front desk said they had just been bought by Marriott and would be renovating while still in use. The desk clerks clearly knew it was substandard and were used to complaints. STAY AWAY!!!!

Probably not again.

Breakfast was pretty much wiped out by 8 am and didn’t look like any one was working in the area. Be warned STL Fire Department is around the corner so expect to hear sirens... Expensive for the accomodations. I will say the staff at front desk was friendly.

Hotel staff was friendly, although they were on the phone the whole time checking us in so we never got information about the hotel or anything we needed to know. The lobby was nice af first glance. Until you look up and see the roof leaking and holes all in it. The room was absolutely terrible, it looked like they didn’t even have cleaning service. The bathroom floors weren’t cleaned, nor was the carpet. The tub was disgusting and peeling and i refused to shower in it. Overall, the room looked like trash and i felt so uncomfortable in the room. Everything felt/looked dirty. **THE ONLINE PICTURES LOOK NOTHING LIKE THE HOTEL** DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!

Stay Elsewhere. Dirty, Run Down, Not full service

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Cleanliness, services offered, overall refreshing of the hotel, clean sheets, clean rooms
Location: Location was OK - nothing was close by, it was about a 20 minute walk to Busch Stadium and more interesting parts of the city.
This hotel was misrepresented. It was run down, dirty, and overall dingy. We were in town for 3 days, and thankfully, we didn't spend much time in the actual hotel. On their online photos, the hotel looks clean and elegant. That couldn't be further from the truth. stains on bed sheets and bed skirts, in the bathtub, torn curtains, broken blinds, "sticky" chairs and benches, and significant damage to furniture. There was no store off of the lobby, no vending machines, and the bar / restaurant was never open. The staff was OK, but this hotel, whether it is in transition or whatever, was just gross. I would STRONGLY recommend staying somewhere else.

There is a vending on the first floor off the lobby of the hotel. Matt it is only a 13 minute walk from the hotel to the stadium . I am made that walk on several occasions. Disgusting

Pictures are airbrushed. Wall paper coming off walls. Furniture stained. Bathroom not pleasant at all!!! And the hotel smell is terrible! And only one elevator worked! Not a 4star hotel!!! Motel six much nicer!

Not your mainstream/ hotel chain environment

Room was beautiful & clean. Parking lot was a challenge for larger vehicles, however pay parking right across the street. Breakfast was complimentary & wonderful. Exceeded expectations & was 2 blocks from Scott Trade Center. Well lit area & felt safe

Classic style not well kept

Room was musty and not very clean. Bed was not very comfortable. We checked in and went to the room and unfortunately the room was not in the best condition. Toilet let out a high pitch squeal when flushed. We grabbed our things and checked right back out and was able to get accomodations on the spot somewhere else.

Walked to ballpark

Good location problem was the parking the spaces are very small and our room 912 was so hot we did get a fan to use but there's a least 25 degree difference between the hallway in that room we should have slept with the door open and their breakfast was good staff was very pleasant and helpful

This hotel was beautiful. My room was Super clean, the staff was so polite and helpful, & breakfast was amazing! Plus the location of the hotel was super close to all the places that my friends and I wanted to go! Next time I'm in St. Louis I'll be sure to stay here again. I had an awesome experience. Nothing went wrong, I have no complaints
