Summer Weekend Stay

Easy checkin and checkout. The Soulard neighborhood was perfectly located by downtown and had countless little stops for anything you could want. This spot was cozy and clean.

Nice Apartment

Nice and comfortable. Wasn’t able to use the downstairs bedroom because the stairs are steep and the bathroom is upstairs. Overall, I was very happy there, it’s just minutes from many restaurants.

Awesome place!!!

The property was in such a great location. Lots of entertainment and amazing food just steps away. We had the most amazing time. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I can’t say enough positive things about this place. We will definitely book again so we can check out more of Soulard.

Great Location!

Stayed here at Diem's place for almost 2 weeks for work. The location is great. Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and the Soulard Farmers Market. Parking is plentiful. Apartment is clean and has everything you need. The neighborhood is very quiet during the week, but lively on the weekends. I felt very safe the entire stay, but always be aware of your surroundings. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again!

The apartment is just like the pictures. I really enjoyed my stay. My first night there was a little loud from the local bar, but one night out of thirty is not bad for such a great place to stay. I will definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your home with me!

Good value

The location is in an up and coming area of Soulard. Could get a bit loud from patrons of bars in the area. We slept with ear plugs and were fine. We are used to city living so it was fine. The property was clean but there is no bathroom in the basement where the bedroom is so you need to be able to climb stairs in the night as needed. Bathtub also needs a mat or adhesive on the bottom as it is slick when you shower, so you have to be careful. Otherwise, this was a decent value for the money. Served us well for the 6 nights we were there. Younger folk who are there for the night life would enjoy their stay.

Baseball Getaway

Our first time to do a VRBO in St. Louis so I was a little nervous. We enjoyed the Soulard area. There is a lot of bars and restaurants so close to this rental which was nice. We Ubered to the games which was definitely the way to do it. The rental had everything you need and was clean. We were arriving early and had asked if we could check in sooner and she said that would be fine. The only downside was the steep stairs going to the bedroom, you have to be very careful but after you are down there you sleep amazingly the bed was very comfy. We will definitely be back if we get a chance to get away again. Thank you for being such a good host Diem.

Disappointed!

There are a lot of things I could say, but I won't. I will be completely honest so that hopefully nobody else will have the experience I had, and take a chance of losing a lot of money. Unfortunately, my stay was not at all what I expected. I am a nurse who works nights , so I sleep in the day. The bedroom is downstairs, which is mostly why I chose this place in hopes it would be quiet, but unfortunately it was not. I literally stayed at the place for maybe 6h ours and had to find another place to stay, as I could not rest at all, and did not feel very safe in the overall area. I could hear everything going on next door, and outside. At one point in early afternoon on that Thursday, there was a live band playing. I am not knocking any of it, if that is what your looking for. I am just wanting to foreworn anyone who is there on business and needs to sleep, this is probably not the best spot. In regards to cleanliness, the place did have a cigarette smell to it, and all the towels/wash cloths wreaked of it, so just be aware if you are like me and don't smoke, or care for the smell of it. It does in fact have a washer/dryer, but that is another story. I checked in on a Thursday at 5:45 pm just before I had to go to work, and checked out Friday afternoon around 2:30. I didn't sleep in the bed, shower or use hardly anything, and I reached out to Diem in hopes of maybe getting some sort of refund, as I was booked for 4 nights and only used 1, but was only offered the $80 cleaning fee.

Perfect for us!

This is a safe/ideal rental. Feels comfy right from the start. Location is perfect for a baseball game, the arch, river cruise, Budweiser tours etc. 10 minute drive or less to all of it. Great neighborhood to walk around also. Bars/coffee/food. It’s all close. Bedroom is quiet and bed is very comfortable. If we ever get back to St. Louis we would see if it was open again.
