When we arrived, one of our two rooms smelled like cigarette smoke, and when I went to complain about it, they handed me a spray can of air freshener. After the first night, we realize the air conditioner in one of the two rooms was not working and they said they would have someone come look at it after they arrived at 11 AM and they never came to look at it so the following night they did move one of our parties to a larger room that had working air conditioning. The showers were not clean. I could see mildew in one of them and the other one had hair in it. Otherwise the room seemed pretty clean. The icemaker was out on our floor so we did have to use the ice machine on the first floor and the women’s bathroom on the first floor was also out of order.

Overall good stay

Great location for people looking to attend events at Chaifetz arena in STL. 10 minute drive away! I enjoyed the room, but I did notice that the floors (vinyl wood plank flooring) were not very clean. Everything else was good though. The metal bed frames were a little loud when getting in bed. Breakfast selections were good.

The hotel seems nice enough but it is located in a shady area. When leaving last night, there was someone working the cars for handouts. The parking lot is well-lit and there is one gate shut and locked, but I still worried leaving our car in the lot overnight.
