Furniture looks like a garage sale

My room was $127 and it looked like a $20 “by the hour” room. This site won’t let me upload photos but the furniture was extremely old, torn and worn. The room was not clean. This property is a terrible representation of the Hilton brand. I won’t be taking my chances on them again.

Big room, great price stink bugs

Room size was great but the hotel is infested with STINK BUGS. Breakfast was great staff was very friendly. Hotel was overall dirty. So disappointed.

Nice suite-styled hotel

Pros: Location, great breakfast and courteous staff
Cons: Room was not as clean as I would have expected for a hotel this nice.
Location: Chesterfield has about everything you would hope to find in a suburb of a major metropolitan area.
Excellent breakfast! Good More reasonably priced than others in the Chesterfield area and just as nice if not nicer.

Nice hotel enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Neat clean spacious rooms, staff was very pleasant and accommodating.
Cons: New sofa chair and ottoman all were in bad shape.
Location: The location was great. Shopping galore, large selection of restaurants,any thing and everything you could need was within 15 minutes of the hotel
The room was very clean and we loved having the suite with a full size fridge and 2 burner stove top. The only negative thing is the furniture really needs to be updated and in better condition. There were cracks and holes in some of the furniture and all looked very faded and worn. The bed was very comfortable and the staff all pleasant and helpful.

EXCELLENT VALUE & QUALITY

We've stayed in a lot of hotels and particularly like the suites because they are more homey and suitable for extra guests, i.e., grandchildren.

Shuttle Service needs work

We stayed at the Homewood Ste Chesterfield specifically because we knew we weren't renting a car and we needed shuttle service which they said they provided with 15 mintues notice from 7:00a.m.-10:00p.m. Well, we used the service once with no problem, but when we needed to be picked up and brought back to the hotel, we called 45 min. in advance and were told we would be picked up at 5:00. At 5:10 we called as the shuttle didn't show up and we were told the driver hadn't come in yet and they didn't know when he would be there. It later became obvious that they don't necessarilly have someone at the hotel to drive the shuttle at all times between 7:00 and 10:00. There are sometimes hours where no one is available, mostly between 3:30 and 5:30. We then called a cab which took 50 minutes to arrive. We almost missed a performance at our daughter's school which was the entire reason we came to Chesterfield. Then later, we left our older daughter with our younger daughter at the hotel and told the hotel they would need a shuttle at 7:30 am on a Mon.so that our daughter could get to school and we made it clear how important it was. They assured us it was not a problem, but then the shuttle driver didn't show up until 8:00a.m. Our daughter was late to school! Don't count on the shuttle service at this hotel! Also, one of the cabinet fronts in our room was off and just lying on the floor. I will not use this hotel again as the front desk attendants did very little to assist us when the shuttle service was bad and we were not compensated as we should have been.
