Barbadoes

Pros: great access to anywhere you wanted to go
Cons: sewage smell in the room and bugs biting
Location: The location is in walking distance to many resturants and once we learned how to get around we could catch bus for $1 american $2 Barbadoes anywhere
The hotel in the piciture on travelocity.com is not the hotel we went to. The pool was not the picture shown on the reservations. The stay ended up being nice, the first night our room didn't have air and my other room the shower didn't work, after the first night they moved me to another room, the bathroom smelled like raw sewage. I told the front desk this information and they said they would try and fix it for the next guest. I guess since I was there so be it. The room was very clean with exception to the odor. We could not go to the beach like the picture said on the internet, it was beach execessive if you want to climb over the rocks but overall we had a great time, we made the best of it. The nats were unreal but nothing you can do about that but keep plenty of bug spray on. One person in our party had to go to the 24hour Dr. the bugs bit so bad.

Horrible experience. Rude staff, horrible food choices. Only good thing was the beach and that had nothing to do with the hotel.

Birthday vacation with girlfriends

Pros: The location and the staff were wonderful. It sits near the end of 'The Gap' and there were eateries, entertainment and public transportation.
Cons: The ventilation in the rooms must be better. The suite we stayed in on the second floor smelled of mold & mildew. Being on the ocean doesn't help.
Location: A 10 or 15 minute walk puts you in the heart of 'The Gap'. There are stores, eateries, bars and other hotels.
For my birthday short vacay with my girlfriends, we choose Ocean Two resort in Barbados. The hotel is off the main street near 'The Gap' and it sits on the beach. Very nice resort, great location, accommodating staff. All-in-all, it was a very pleasant vacation. I'd recommend this resort for a short stay.

you don't want to know

Pros: did not stay there. changed to a resort that was not as hostile to request.
Cons: PERSONNEL that answers request. Fire them or give them a class in customer relations. I have a business and would never treat my customers that way.
Location: no comment
changed reservation to another resort. Did not stay there.
