Our two bedroom/two and a half bath townhouse is located at 300 Ocean Mile – a beach-side community located on the east end of the island, just adjacent to the St. George Island State Park. The home has a spacious split-level open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen that opens into the living and dining area. This 1400 sq. ft. town-home was recently updated with new kitchen, bathrooms, and lighting throughout. We have something for everyone. Get a great night's rest in the well-appointed main suite on the top level, which features a comfortable king size bed and private master bath with rainfall shower head. Enjoy views of the gulf from your private balcony. We have bunkbeds outside the master suite, so children (this is not an adult bed) can have their own retreat. Each bed has a light and USB port to power devices. Full sized washer and dryer are also on the top level. The middle level houses the guest bedroom and full bathroom. This room features a queen size bed. Enjoy ocean views from the main living area deck. Walk right off the back deck to get to the pool and grill area. The carport fits two cars and extra parking is allowed along the main road.
Most people come to St. George because of the seclusion. The island has a much different feel than neighboring beaches communities. Retirees especially like the quiet feel and our island is good for families that want to avoid the crowds. Getting here is easy (approximately 2-hour drive from Tallahassee, 6 hours from Atlanta or Birmingham), but you'll feel worlds away. There are plenty of things to do on the island – biking trail and bike rentals, kayaking, fishing, boating and shopping. There are plenty of restaurants offering everything from pizza to fresh seafood. If you prefer cooking, the kitchen is spacious and fully equipped and vented. And there are a couple markets on the island with a good selection of meats and groceries. Or in just short trip, you can be in Apalachicola, known for their shopping, great dining and festivals. We have HD cable and flat screen TV’s in each living area. Free high speed wifi that works great if you do have to connect.
Guests have access to our entire home, plus all common areas of the community including two pools, BBQ area, boardwalks and beach.
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets. Sometimes it is best for everyone to have a vacation. Also, please take note that our town-home is a 4-level split plan (including the ground floor entry) with three small staircases (7 stairs) connecting each level. As such, it is not wheelchair accessible.
