St Augustine Beach

This was our first visit to St. Augustine, and we knew we wanted to stay close to the beach. The house was perfect for our family and 2 miniature doxies. The house is close to the beach and has plenty of room. The elevator is a plus along with the pool. The hosts were very courteous and very responsive when we contacted them. We highly recommend the Sunsetter House!

Comfortable Stay

Our family of seven, 6 adults and one infant stayed for a week. The home was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space for our family. The location is a short walk to the beach. We especially enjoyed the pool and patio area for family time. Several restaurants are within walking distance. We recommend The Beachcomber for an affordable and delicious meal. Our only suggestion to the property owner would be to replace the cushions on the main deck furniture as their are very worn. Also the beach chairs are in poor condition. With that said, it certainly wouldn’t stop us from staying here again. We really did enjoy our family vacation at The Sunsetter.

Property was nice but lots of things needed updating. The doorknobs were rusty and door to downstairs bedroom was hard to use. Some furniture needs replacing in pool area, there are uneven pavers that are dangerous. Everything in garage, chairs and umbrellas were broke. I did mention this to property manager, he said he would bring us new ones immediately but it was our last day. Home was beautiful and accommodations great (middle room upstairs needs new bed.)Forget about opening windows and blinds. All this and I'd still rent again.. Property management was excellant.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the convenient location to beach, YMCA and restaurants. Despite the close proximity to other rentals and homes, it’s very quiet. Pool was impeccably maintained, house was clean and well furnished. The furnishings (bedspreads) are showing a little wear and I agree the beds are noisy. The pillows on the beds could use a refresh. The only detail a little below standard was the exterior of cabinets could use a good scrub in kitchen and baths. And in one bedroom the lamp cord sustained serious splash from a prior occupant and could use a good scrub. Would stay again in this neighborhood and in this house. Thank you for a great vacation.

Beautiful Pool-home with Short Walk to Beach

Beautiful pool-home located on street with direct access to the beach. House was very clean and well-stocked. All was in good working order as well. Garage had lots of extra beach toys, wagon, pool toys, etc. We had a great time walking to the beach and enjoying the pool. The location in St. Augustine was great - access to all of the local amenities. Highly Recommend!

Ocean dream

This is a beautiful 3 story home very close to beach you can walk it in about 2 minutes..property management was very responsive to all correspondence. Everything you need is there, pool is not really useable this time of year but we were there when a cold front came through..overall pleasant trip and great location.

60 bday get together

This home was fantastic in every way! Clean, bright and cheerful & a very beautiful property and perfect location! The kitchen was fully stocked & had everything we needed and more! I really like the fact that there were no bunkbeds and that every bed was very comfortable ! When not using the pool, we had everything we needed to go to the beach, including a wagon, multiple chairs, plenty of beach towels, etc . The hosts were very communicative with us before check in, during our stay, and any check out day - they always answered our texts immediately and were always friendly & very helpful! I highly recommend this wonderful slice of paradise to everyone ! I will definitely be renting this home again in the future!

Labor Day Getaway

We had a great time at this vacation rental. The house is newer and very well equipped. The 4 rooms and dual living rooms was great for the adults and the kids in the group. The house is with in walk distance to the beach no problem 200yards more or less. St. Augustine is a lovely place to stay, and the house is very close to bars and restaurants. Only Con would be. I prefer to sleep on a firmer bed however. I will stay here again someday.

Lots of space for the family to either gather or hang out on their own with all the amenities you need. The beach was just steps from the house on a quiet street and allowed dogs :).

Beautiful property -- Needs major updates for guests

Beautiful property. However, the family area furniture (couch and loveseat ) were cheap and uncomfortable. The Pool was falling apart with cracked lining falling into the pool. The shades made it impossible to sleep once the sun came up (think: plantation shutters). not enoguh beach towels. for a house that hold 8-10 ppl there should be beach chairs and towels for that amount. No dish towels...so, I assume just use those two over and over or run up and down the steps doing wash (which we did). The dishwasher was a formality since it didnt clean anything...after each cycle you had to hand wash 50% of the load. The elevator was great until it wasnt...it stopped with me in it between floors....I had to manually open the doors and step up... I asked for an early check in and they said theyd call me...never did so we went there and found it was cleaned with no one their had to practically beg for them to turn the access to the door on...20 minutes before regular check in....but they insisted...10am was the check out time...we were out in advance of 10am...came back after breakfast to check and no cleaning crew was there...they had the owners of the site there one day...and one two days pool ppl who both times blocked the driveway by parking across in an haphazard lazy fashion...

Great place for family trip

Home is spacious enough to spread out adult children but come together for family meals and game time. Walking distance to two fantastic restaurants and putt putt. Pool is perfect size to relax in the evening after a long day at the beach. Kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

Sun San Relax

The house was nice and comfortable. It does have an elevator we found very helpful when unpacking. It was far enough away from local attractions to have a quiet relaxing week, yet near enough to accommodate the younger generation and their sightseeing. Our host was thoughtful and anticipated most of our needs .

Amazing property, beach and location

The property was clean, well stocked and close to attractions and restaurants. We were a multi-generational family and enjoyed the pool as well as the short walk to the beautiful beach. The house provided plenty of room for us to spread but still come together for meals and family time. Great vacation experience!

SUNNYBROOK CT GETAWAY

The house location was Great! 4 Houses from the Beach was fantastic. We had 3 Adult couples, and we all had our own room with our own bathroom. The Kitchen/eating and sitting area was great as we were able to be around each other when in the kitchen. Loved the balcony off the kitchen. I would have liked extra light blankets as there were none, so all you had was your top sheet (don't like using the bed spread as a cover). Maybe add a few more good beach chairs. Overall, we loved the house and would stay there again or definitely in that area. We had a fantastic time.

February Beach Vacation

This property was everything we hoped for and more. The beach was a convenient short walk away without having to cross any streets. The pool was heated and private. There were plenty of towels and the beds were comfortable. There was even a slow cooker we used to make dip on super bowl Sunday!
