Close to downtown

The best part about this place is that it is about a 10-minute walk from downtown. The place is clean and has all the basics you need. Just a heads-up that the queen bed is a mattress in the closet that you drag out of the closet and set up in the living room. I did appreciate how the cabinets and the closet were labeled with a list of the contents. That saved time in looking through every cabinet! The house is a little bit old, but it is fixed up well.

Worth the stay

Older home but updated somewhat. Was one of the few places we could have our dog. Backyard is fenced but big gap under back gate, if your dog is on the small side they can get under gate. Could smoke on property but outside only. Was fully equipped but left over snacks/food need to be removed. Musty smell in kitchen area. Flooring seperating. Dropped ceiling in need of repair. Flip outs under kitchen sink full of crumbs. Get rid of the awful plastic like rug in the living room, it is not comfortable. Wrong code for door but a quick 2 minute phonecall resolved it. For the price and convenience we will definitely stay again. It has issues but none were that bad. I have pictures if needed. Jvriffel@gmail.com thank you!

Our time in Springfield

The host was very gracious. He made sure we had extra towels and quarters for the washer. The bed was ok but the extra blankets were clean and soft. We had an awesome stay and will definitely rent with this host again.

Great Stay

Old but very well kept, nicely decorated super clean. Kitchen was well stocked. A great place to relax after site seeing all day in quiet neighborhood near downtown. Host Anthum was great!

UNSAFE AREA!

House was older but clean with amenities as described. However, DON'T stay here. The area is unsafe. There is a drug house across the street with multiple cars and people coming and going day and night. Drug users hanging around outside the house and stumbling down the street. One fell on the front porch as we were sitting outside and stumbled down the street almost being hit by a car. Party van dropped off several people that night. NO deadbolts or additional locks in the home to make you feel safe. Worried about vehicle being broke into due to activity seen. Host lives in separate area of rental, but states he is unaware of this activity. Host as access to entry on front and back door due to no additional locks inside the home. Did not feel safe in this area even though I was with my huband. We did not sleep here and left the same day we arrived after just a few hours of seeing what was going on around us. DO NOT STAY HERE. IT IS NOT SAFE.

I would move in here! It is kept perfectly clean, everything you need for your stay is provided! Even a his & hers bathrobe! You are allowed to bring your pet & this was a wonderful bonus! I highly recommend booking, communication was also fabulous with the owner!

Love your property, great location, close to everything.

My stay was absolutely wonderful. Love the location love how close it was to all the attractions. I did the cave tour I did the aquarium and of course I visited bass pro all great. I actually went to the pool one day I do know I need to bring a chair next time, but that was on me, thank you again for such a lovely’s day definitely will be back again!
