Gulfview Hideaway-Spectacular Pool & Beach Access!

The Gulfview Hideaway is located on sunny South Padre Island (beach/ocean side) and is only a short walk from the beach. The condo is located on the 4th floor (elevator access) and has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, and set up to sleep up to six (6) guests.

The beach is only a short walk away with access to a walk-up beach bar & grill. The building features a resort-style pool, hot tub, and BBQ area which is perfect for cooling off after a long day at the Beach.

Kitchen:
The Gulfview Hideaway features a fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops and a new refrigerator. The condo is completely tiled (no need to worry about getting sandy feet on the carpet!)

Balcony:
Relax on the patio in the evenings. You'll love the view of the resort-style pool area from the balcony - a great view of the sunset, the Queen Isabel Bridge, and even Fireworks in the distance every Friday and Saturday night during the Summer months!

Bedroom:
The bedroom has two (2) queen beds with freshly cleaned linens for every guest. There is a small closet with hangers and storage for your bags. The TV in the bedroom has an Amazon Fire Stick with access to Netflix and any of your own streaming apps.

Bathroom:
The bathroom is fully stocked with toiletries, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and towels. We're sure you'll enjoy a nice long shower after a fun day at the beach!

Living Room:
The living room features a TV with cable and access to over 100 channels. There is a pull out sofa bed with all the linens and pillows you will need.
Guest access
There is plenty of parking available in the building, just be sure to use and return the Parking Passes that we will provide you. Also, the City of South Padre Island provides a FREE Shuttle Service that goes all over the island.
Other things to note
Elevator access to the 4th Floor and luggage carts make checking-in and checking-out a breeze.

Great place to stay.

The Gulfview is always nice place to stay. It’s away from all the commotion. Really close to the jetties. Close the bridge. Staff is always looking over the property. You have a sense is safety. Host is quick to respond to your request and make the whole process very easy.

Perfect Start to the week

We had stayed in a 2-bedroom in the same complex on a previous trip so we knew it was a great location. The condo was clean and well stocked. We knew ahead of time that the elevator was not working- it was a hike up 4 flights. They were working on the elevator the whole time, so maybe it will be fixed soon. The pool area was fabulous. Side note- if someone is sleeping in the living room, there’s no back out curtains and the pool lights are on the whole night. Overall fantastic start to our week on SPI.

2 Week Stay

We were very pleased with our stay. Nice quiet building. We stayed 2 weeks. Things were pretty good except that it seemed they were more accustomed to shorter stays. Very limited bathroom items. TP, towels , wash cloths ect. Kitchen was well stocked except for silverware. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend .

Winter get-a-way from the cold and rain.

The unit was basically clean. There was however an odor upon our initial entry but after buying a bottle of Pine sol and a couple of moppings it was fine. We also placed the throw rugs onto the deck and put them back inside when we left. The bedsheets did not fit the one bed very well and continually came off in the night, however the mattresses were Very Comfortable. There were holes in the bathroom wall where there was at one time a toilet tissue holder and the wiring for the bedroom fan was dangling from the ceiling. But the fan worked fine. We had to call the police to gain entry after our 7th day as the door lock was inoperable and on-site staff refused to open the door. Otherwise, we had a good time.

Gulfview Getaway

Everything was great !!! Super clean and sooo cute. Great location. Just a short little walk to the beach. Unfortunately due to my hubby’s hand being in a cast we didn’t get to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi but it looked very nice from our balcony. Marc & Tere were wonderful. Very easy to get in touch with them for any questions. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your place. 5 gold stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for sure!!!

Lovely time

The place was as advertised. We had everything we needed in the condo. Lovely view to the pool. My kids enjoyed the hot tub and playing at the beach. A short walking distance to the beach was a great addition. This was our first time on South Padre Island, and we really had a great time. Marc was very nice to work with and always answered our questions right on time. Thank you for renting us your place!

Very Clean

The apartment was very clean with nice amenities. Housekeeping forgot to leave toilet paper; had to go buy some ourselves. Entry key pad was wonky and often took several tries to unlock and lock the door. No instructions on how to work the TVs, which were confusing to figure out. Outdoor bbq space was great. Pool is huge and very clean. Hot tub was great too. Would stay here again.

Beautiful condo!

The condo was just like the pictures! It was very clean and did not disappoint. It has very nice, cute beach decor which my kids loved to see! There’s a very relaxing vibe and sitting on the balcony at night was peaceful. We were able to make several meals in the room too. They have a well equipped kitchen. Marc and Tere were great hosts!

We have to say that this property was clean and cozy. We enjoyed watching the fireworks from our balcony. We also loved the close proximity to the beach, the waterpark, and restaurants/shops. We liked the large pool and BBQ area. We definitely would stay here again.
