Registration was a mess. They claim they didn't have my registration and was going to charge me more than what I had arranged through Expedia. You register through a window and it was pouring down rain. I showed them my confirmation and they argued with me. They finally gave me the rooms at the price on the website. They had to give me a refund. The rooms are run down. The heating barely worked. I won't be staying there ever again

This is not the Ritz. But if you need a decent place to stay for a reasonable price this the place. Most times when you travel alone all you’re looking for is a comfortable bed with clean sheets and a shower that works well. Totally fills the bill. I’ve stayed here probably 10 times. I keep coming back so they’re doing something right. Plus the staff is amazing

Room was dirty, mattress pad cover and sheets and part of the pillow cases had brown rings on them, was disgusting! Bathroom had slimy looking stuff around the toilet on corners of the walls.

It is great place to stay in Placerville, if you don't have do not disturb sign they do the regular room sevice thing. Very kind and nice people work thier. Great place to stay.

In the bathroom was a loose tile between the bathtub and toilet - my friend - caught her hell in that gap and fell into the bathtub - she was shaken up and hit her head - we did not report to the office as it was late at night. It took one hour for me to pull her out of the bathtub - which was cold - she is home now with a bump on her head.

Everything was great, quiet, front desk staff was super sweet and personable, it's nothing super fancy but it gets the job done and the town of placerville is very beautiful to explore!
