Family Trip

When we got to the property the building itself is very dated. We also didnt realize how north in Topsail we were. There was high tide so not much beach & the water was very choppy. There was an issue with the toilet not being bolted to the floor when we got there. It was literally lifting from the floor. We did contact maintenance & he did come the next day & replaced the bolt. The main mattress was terrible. Probably one of the worst mattresses I've ever slept on. It sagged & was very springy. I looked and there was no box spring or slates that I saw to give the mattress support. It looked like a metal frame from a sleeper sofa was placed in the headboard & mattress thrown on top. I had back issues & finally we decided to check-out early. I did inform the owner about the mattress so she's aware. Others that attempted to sleep on it had issues as well.

Great spot!

We really enjoyed Ginger's place. It was perfect! Great kitchen and supplies, and even a little goodie package for us! So thoughtful. Very comfortable, nicely decorated and great location. We will definitely be back as we visit the area often.

Awesome home away from home

This property was exactly like listed. We had enough room for our family of 5 to move around. We celebrated Christmas with our son who is a Marine. I was able to cook Christmas dinner with a well stocked kitchen. The condo was close enough to the beach for daily walks and shell hunting. We will definitely be back

Flip Flop Haven was absolutely wonderful!!!

This stay was amazing. Hosts thought of everything! Decor of condo was so beautiful and love the fact that we had ocean view! Everything we needed was there. Thank you for an incredible stay. We will be back for sure!

Relaxing Getaway

This unit is wonderful. Comfy, clean and relaxing. Everything you need is on hand. Close to beach access, public restrooms in lobby and foot wash stations at beach are a great convenience. We’ll be back.

Eloped on the beach

We had a wonderful stay at Flip Flop Haven! We arrived in the middle of a Hurricane but thanks to the very clear and detailed arrival and check in procedures sent by the host prior to our arrival we were able to get settled quickly and without getting completely soaked. The next day as the weather moved out of the area my fiancée became my wife on the beach at the property with a small group of family in attendance. We then honeymooned for the remainder of the week. We felt right at home in condo! Breakfast watching the waves from the dining room table and a glass of wine on the balcony while watching the sunset made for a perfect beginning and end to each day. We will be back!

Perfect Getaway

My family and I enjoyed our 7 night stay. The rental was just as advertised and we were thoroughly impressed. Ginger was quick to answer any question that I had. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make dinner each and every night. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Condo!

We had a wonderful family vacation! Ginger and Mike have been amazing communicating through the whole reservation process. The welcome basket was a great touch and truly appreciated. The condo is lovely!

Great access to the beach!

This was our first time visiting Topsail; overall, we loved it! The condo was clean, and the owners did a nice job making updates. However, the grounds of St. Regis are dirty, rundown, and in need of updates, and for this, I would not stay at St. Regis again. I contemplated mentioning this in my review and decided to because if I had known, I would have paid a little more to stay at a nicer facility. The stairwells, lobby (of our building), trash chute room, and outside hallways could be better and remind you of a rundown apartment complex. However, we were pleasantly surprised when opening the door at how nice the condo was inside, and again it was spotless and had great access to the beach. A lovely gift bag awaited us with a thank you note and a new beach bucket for our grandson.

Flip Flop Haven

We had the best week in a quiet, clean, relaxing condo at the end of a hallway. The resort offers various amenities & access points to the beach. Also, there are several restaurants & stores within close driving distance. Our host, Ginger, was always quick to respond to any questions/concerns!

The Perfect Gateway

Amazing time for my family. Our place was super clean and just right for our growing family. Quick access to the beach and the pool was phenomenal. Our daughters loved the playground area and the Ice Cream shop :) Ginger (the owner) was quick to help and always available if we had a question. Her welcome guide was very thorough and truly captured the spirit of Topsail Island. It was hard to pack up and leave because we truly felt this was home. We can’t wait to book this again next year. A complete 5 star experience and atmosphere.

Beautiful place

Ginger and Mike’s place was perfect for our family. The place is perfectly updated and clean. It is well stocked with everything you could ask for. It’s located at the end of a wing and is very quiet. There is an elevator and carts to help you get checked in. It’s located near stairs so you can exit right to the parking area. The resort offers lots of amenities, including an ice cream shop which the kids loved. There are multiple accesses to the beach. We preferred the one by the pool because it had a ramp for our beach wagon. Mike and Ginger were great about getting us set up and checking in during our stay. I can’t recommend their place more! This is the place you want! We will definitely be back!
