A weekend getaway
This cabin is beautiful and has an incredible view. It is perched high on a bluff and very secluded. We ate all our meals on the wrap around porch overlooking the mountains. The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The king size bed is so comfortable that I messaged the owner to ask where they bought it. The hot tub was a nice added amenity. We will do our best to visit again!

A Slice of Heaven
This cabin was absolutely GORGEOUS! The views were AMAZING! The cabin was clean and fresh. We enjoyed hiking, bird watching and so many other things. We really "unplugged" here. So relaxing. And the hot tub has awesome as well. We will be back. Thank you for having us.

Secluded eclipse getaway
We had a fantastic time in this gorgeous cabin to view the 2024 total eclipse in quiet seclusion from what was undoubtedly throngs of crowds down on the highway. The cabin is open and airy with incredible views of the ouchitas off to the north and east from inside the house as well as the deck. We walked down to the creek and relaxed in the hot tub. We both slept very well in the comfortable bed. Would definitely stay here again if we need a quiet weekend away from the city.

We both needed a break from stressful jobs, and this cabin gave us just that! I was so happy to learn that there was no wi-fi, or i would have sneaked in some work. Instead, we completely disconnected from work and got the stress-relief we wanted.

Secluded, no joke!! Definite repeat stay!
This cabin checked all the boxes! The longer we stayed, the more we loved this place. Usually if a cabin is secluded it doesn't have either a view or a hot tub. But this place has all 3. Trent, our host, was personable, informative, and helpful. It lives up to the description! A hot beverage in the rocking chairs on the deck overlooking the valley and mountains in the distance were something out of a travel magazine. Even a sea salt vanilla essential oil soak that we brought with us in the perfectly placed pedistal tub in front of the giant window allowed for a majestic view as well.

God’s Touch
Having stayed at the neighboring cabin the previous year we decided to stay at Morning Sky this year. As usual we were not disappointed. Beautiful scenery and seclusion that lets you reset your soul. The deafening sound of pure silence and the painted skies with mountains off in the distance is as close to Heaven on earth as you can get without talking to St. Peter himself. As always we look forward to our next visit to either cabin.

Weekend Trip
Cabin is very nice. Nice view. The road going in is rough. If you are in a car or specifically a sports car you are not going to make it in wet or snow conditions. AWD are Four wheel is desired. Going in daytime it would easy to see signs. At night it is impossible to read the signs, you can't see them from car even with halogen headlights. Stay with GPS Directions, not the directions on listing. GPS will take you past entrance. If they improved the signage the place is great and would recommend. Host was very friendly.
