Disco ruined it
I would have given this hotel full marks if it had not been for the fact that there was a very loud disco on the Friday night we stayed. The noise started off at a bearable level but then got louder and louder and did not finish until one o'clock in the morning. We had had a 5 am start that day and just wanted to get a good night's sleep, but there had been no warning or indication that there would be loud music playing.

Good canoe for money.
Good value for money. The inside of the property is a bit tired. The shower kept going hot and cold. Beds were ok. I would say it is a 3 star rather than a 4 star. Didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on that.

My room was lovely, a couple of maintenance issues, but nothing that made any difference to my stay. The car park was well lit which was nice to come back to after being out all evening.

Needs work.
Arrived Saturday afternoon for one night. Check in was ok. Stayed in a club room. Everything was tired but clean. Shower was in the bath. Shower door didn’t fit correctly. Tea and coffee in room but no biscuits. Also safe and fridge in the room. Heating was very noisy AC. Notice in bathroom saying keep door shut when taking a shower or fire alarm will trigger. The fire alarm did go off at some stage through the night and woke us up. Though only for a minute or so. We also had a meal in the restaurant. We really enjoyed this and our waitress was excellent. The restaurant experience saved our trip really.
