It's quite a shame that even though we are regulars at this hotel, we weren't given the room we requested..most times we were given what we requested.mind you it's rather quiet at this time.. Also the lady that check us in was not in a good mood..for the first time ..we felt a bit unwelcomed..

The location was excellent, minutes from 2 MRT lines. Staff really helpful, friendly and welcoming. There was also a pool and a mini gym. But the negative was there was no wardrobe, or chest of drawers, or bed side reading lights. This would have been fine for a few days but we had a lot of luggage as we had been travelling. The breakfast was served in the restaurant next door. The content varied slightly, but sometimes items were not replenished. But at 15$, there was a lot of breakfast choices for much less or slightly more. There was also alcohol on sale which was reasonably priced . Once again the staff were lovely.

The room (329) was clean but next to where the waste water pipes run so there was a sound of running water from other rooms. Also, the room could not be any smaller to fit in the bed and sparse furniture. The breakfast was served in a small café next door and got busy. The food was mediocre: orange squash not orange juice; corn flakes only, bread for toast with margarine and jam, a few hot items. I would not select the breakfast option and go elsewhere if I stayed again. The TV system was dates: only a small number of TV channels. Netflix did not work - an old version that wanted an email rather than scanning a QR code. It did not then accept a valid email for an account.
