Historic second floor room with balcony

The hotel had rooms upstairs, so it was a climb to reach the second floor. Our room was spacious and beautiful! There was a sliding door with a balcony, which looked over the old historic town. The problem was that it was an older building that had been renovated very nicely, but the heat controls were not in our room and the Internet for the TV kept going off and on. We had to send text back-and-forth to the proprietor to contact our neighbor in an adjacent room to turn up the heat.

We loved Silverton! This little hotel was sweet and the decor was totally updated. Comfortable bed. We had an issue with the occupants in the next room who were loud until late. I addressed it with the manager the next morning and he handled it well.

Interesting property, everything done by email and text. After check in by text, a confirmation and key code is sent. Room was fine, and hotel is well located to restaurants.

If you like historic hotels with rooms that lack function, this place is charming. Rooms are above a restaurant, which you will hear at night. There’s no office, so you need to check in and out via text message. The bed was clean and comfortable and the shower was great but there was too much decor and no place to put anything. A chair would have been nice and the pedestal sink in the bathroom was cute but impractical. Okay for one night.

It is what you see on the picture. It’s a self check in type of hotel. We got the room with 2 beds. Nick was very helpful when i was checking in. They need to update the wifi on the website and didn’t realize that the password was above the microwave on the wall. Pretty quiet city and this hotel was one of the affordable ones. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. The building is pretty old but the room is clean. One complain though is We woke up from a sound around 4am/5am. We heard click noise and it would click from very slow to fast. Not sure if that was heater or whatsoever but other than that we slept good!

Rooms are not what is on the photos.

False advertising. All I got was a bed, no desk. Definitely no balcony. I had to sit on my bed crouched over my laptop to get work done. No lobby to sit at a desk. The bathroom mirrors had stains on them. There is a restaurant below the hotel. It is very loud and quiets down after 10pm. So if you want to go to bed before 10pm, you will listen to crowds of people talking and music playing, and it will resonate into your room very clearly.

Room was very hot. I had to open the window and leave bathroom fan on all night to stay comfortable. No response to my phone message. Linens are past their useful condition. Not enough grounded electrical outlets. Bad wiring behind blank plate by door. If you lean on it, everything flickers. Internet & TV out for 2 days.

My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend of skiing at silverton. We absolutely loved our room! It was such a well appointed space. The bathroom was top notch. It really helped that there was a restaurant below the hotel as we got to eat there. Nick is awesome and we felt super safe.

Muy mala comunicación, me cambiaron la fecha de estancia ellos por su cuenta solicite con mas de dos semanas de anticipación reembolso y me lo negaron cuando no fue mi error. No contestan llamadas, no contestan mensajes, no contestan email y me cobraron una habitacion que para la fecha que me pusieron ya estaba fuera del pais. Manejé mas de 3 horas bajo nieve para llegar allá de noche y al llegar nadie nos ayudo. Espero que nadie pase por esta mala experiencia.

No parking lot for the cars/ no customer service to give you welcome. Any contact with someone on our arrive. The room apparently was clean but not vacuum enough. My wife is very alérgic to dust she could not sleep well. Not enough towels for a couple. Not recommend this place to anyone.
