Solid stay

Hotel is located in a nice quiet neighborhood away from the noise of pub street. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Friendly staffs, room was ok.

We stayed two nights with Horizons Cambodia, the location is pretty convenient, it's not on main streets but only need a couple minutes walk to main road (with shops and massage). The staffs are kind and with friendly greetings, the room is not bad, the bathroom is basic, to our point of view it's not very spacious, the water of the shower was very small, so we took time to finish our shower. One thing confused us was when we checked out they said we have to pay for beers that we actually didnt consume, but after explaining to the staffs, they quickly undertood and the problem was solved. In general, it was a nice stay with the hotel.

Good cheap breakfast so quick to get started in the morning. RIght downtown so very convenient. Big room. Staff helpful but limited English. Free tuk tuk from Capital bus drop off. Would stay again!

There was a mix-up when I arrived at the airport, where the hotel said that I hadn't sent them my flight number (they hadn't replied to either of my emails 3 days and 1/2 a day before my arrival, which would have clarified what information they need), and that I'd need to take a taxi there. (Fortunately, taxis are cheap, fixed $7.) Also, the hotel is on a poorly-lit street, so not very nice at night, though perfectly safe.

I loved this place. The people are so friendly and always willing to go above and beyond. We booked our tours through the hotel which was 3 days worth. The Tuk Tuk driver was very helpful and showed us around and explained things along the way. the hotel owner spoke very good English and he had many stories to share about the history of Siem Reap. On our second last day they booked our departure bus and even picked up our tickets. I give this hotel a massive thumbs up!

Wonderful Visit

The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make our experience the best they could.  The bathroom, while simple, allowed the best shower we had in all of Asia.  Everyone tried so hard to make us feel welcome, without being sterile.  I can't say enough positives about this place.

This hotel has a very nice family/friendly feel. The young staff and owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They all speak very good english, and even some french. The Breakfast was delicious, home made crepes and french toast. We went to Preah Vihear on a long day trip with the owner and his brother in law. The journey was very pleasant with lot's of ancient and recent historical informations and stories. We were profoundly touched by the khmer people in general during our trip and we recommend this place because you get the real picture and get to discuss honestly without the polished/polite/fake facade the big hotels ask their staff to have. The real experience is not so much the temples, it comes from the people. This hotel is owned and run by a young khmer family, all your money goes to build the future of this young generation.

Warm welcome at Horizons

Really friendly staff. Made us feel very welcome and organised a fantastic Angkor tuk tuk tour at short notice. Great breakfast too. Would definitely recommend!

depressing, 2-star hotel

This is more like a two-star hotel. We booked another hotel as soon as we arrived and left after one night (without a refund for our remaining two nights). After entering the hotel, you encounter a courtyard of discarded trash. There is no separation between the shower and the bathroom, so there is substantial flooding ever time you take a shower. The hotel is dimly lit and generally depressing. Bed is hard and uncomfortable. Only sheets are provided---there is no blanket.

Good location, great staff but basic accomodation

I have rated it lower as I disliked the bathroom as no separation between toilet and shower and the toilet wouldn't flush initially and though it was looked into, it still wasnt working well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic though nice. Bed was comfortable and room was decently sized with extras like coffee/tea/water. Location was good--about 5 to 10 minutes walk to pub street. Places to eat nearby and easy to get to from the airport. I suggest you don't get the basic room as you get what you pay for. Get a deluxe room for slightly more and you will really enjoy your stay at this small hotel.

Small, friendly guest house, lovely staff

Horizons GH is good location on east side of river, quiet, within 10 minute walk to Pub Street action and old market. Lovely staff, breakfast great, very clean and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Easy to arrange transport to Angkor and other sights and restaurants in area - all very accommodating.

Lovely little guest house

Friendly welcome and lovely little guesthouse. Good sized rooms with ac, fan and kettle. Lovely breakfast and an official Ankor tour guide owns the place. He was very knowledgeable and took us on several tours. Pay more and use a superior room.

Lovely place to stay in Siem Reap

The best thing about Horizons is the staff! They were all quite young but provided fantastic service. Nothing was too much trouble for them - one of them even went out and bought a cheap sim card for me and let me use his phone when I had to call my bank in the UK! The rooms are basic but clean and with a decent bathroom. Breakfast, served on the terrace outside was superb. We arrived in Siem Reap late in the evening and as we only had limited time there, needed to arrange to visit the temples the next day - the staff quickly sorted out a friendly tuk-tuk driver for us at a good price. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again!

Excellent staff, good location and a price that will fit anyone's budget. The owner Chanthou was awesome! He speaks perfect English and can assist you with any of travel needs. It's a lovely little hotel in a quiet part of town! I would definitely return and recommend it to all my friends.

Great choice

Great hotel, owner Choun Chantou and staff were very nice, friendly and promptly responded to any request. You can book tours at the front desk, hotel owner is a professional tour guide and they also have trusted tuk tuk drivers if you choose to do any tours on your own. They pick you up from the airport for free, hotel is within walking distance to Pub Street, day and night market. Angkor Wat and war museum are a short tuk tuk ride away. I would stay here again, it's was overall a great choice hotel.
