You will be happy to stay here

Very good hotel, I always stay there when I am in Shanghai. It closes to subway station for 2 lines. Delis are near by. But when they have group tour people check in, you need wait longer time to check in.

Great Hotel very close to City Centre and Metro

The hotel stay was a great experience and would highly recommend for all tourists visiting Shanghai to attend the exhibition at Expo centre. The hotel is very centrally located and walking distance from the Metro stations. Nice warm place, wish to stay at the same place during my next visit to Shanghai. Thanks

I actually booked there again as Pine city hotel was not offering doubled bedrooms which is nearer to my relatives. I tried to have a free night porridge the night I arrived but to no avail. room service was up to 10.30 pm I asked for it around 11.15pm some flexibility can help and is called customer service. frontliner should improve there communication skill, helpful but language barriers. but i really appreciated the young man on the lobby part always trying his best and looking for a way to help. even tried to order Pizza for me on his phone. as a double room rate expect that slippers are replaced by pair which was not the case this time. concerning tea and coffee some additional milk would be appreciated. I again could not have a later check out until 15.30 from the duty manger in service,as my flight is at 22.30. i do believe for a hotel with these rates at least a free shuttle should be given to or from the airport , i had it with regal hotel in hk, and very good and even for late check out. i wanted to join in the wechat frequent customers but it is only in chinese and not very clear. missing for the rate, at least a free meal, a free shuttle and late check-out which some CCinn gives.

OK if you are looking for a "value" stay.

The hotel was quite "local" in that there were only a few staff who spoke English. There were also some "oddities" like no fridge in room and only tea to use with the kettle - no coffee. In terms of value I would stay again but it would not take much for the staff to make this hotel a truly "international" one.

being my second stay in the hotel i would have wish a value added service but no such thing, not even a late check out at 6pm for a last shower before a 10pm flight. At least this time they did not call the police station to know if i entered the country legally! i do believe that for such amount of money we could at least have breakfast in it and a bigger room. I reckon that they should have mentioned maintenance during this period. I tried a CCINN in Liuzhou and frankly they get a better score than Lee Gardens hotel.

The carpet in room should be cleaned/shampooed more frequently. Breakfast is adequate. It has something for every taste. The service is very good. I would stay at this hotel again if I visit Shanghai again.

Very nice hotel in lively neighborhood.

In Shanghai for a conference at a university around the corner. Very nice hotel - well maintained, very friendly staff (enough of whom speak at least some English, with the person in charge of the front desk always being fluent). Didn't use the restaurant or gym facilities. My only complaint is that the kitchenette in friend's room was ill-equipped. Well, not equipped at all. Fortunately, there's a Carrefour around the corner and it was easy to pick up a cheap pot, some cheap kitchen utensils, and some simple table service. (It really was cheap, and we were going to be here for 5 nights.) We prefer to cook when we can because of my friend's dietary restrictions. There are plenty fo appealing restaurants in the area, and it's a bustling lively neighborhood that also has a nice park about 15 minutes walk away. Right on the #4/#7 subway line. Overall, very happy, and intend to extend my trip one night to squeeze in another meeting.

Nice hotel with good location

Location is very good. Metro just downstairs and easy to go anywhere. Room is quite nice, front desk is very friendly. The only small issue is the lift, too slow... And during morning peak time one lift is out of service, need to wait for more than 10 min to wait for lift.

Poor maintance and no English TV. Skip it.

I choose this hotel based on the fact that the place I stayed before had no English TV. This hotel had TV in 7 languages. It did not. It had Chinese and one Japanese station. No in hotel movies as advertised. The wall paper on the wall where the TV was on was pealing at all the seams. There was cigarette ash by the waste bin in the bathroom when I arrived and it was there when I left. The fountain in the hall on my floor did not work. All indicates a general gross lack of upkeep and housekeeping. The bed was like a cloth covered piece of plywood and I could not get a taxi to stop for me that night to go to dinner. There are nicer hotels for the same price, I'd skip this one.

My Home Hotel

I stayed in this hotel for many, many times. It is a very nice, clean hotel, good location (near subtrain #4 & #7). People are friendly. Price is very good.
