The sidewalk was torn up replacing water pipes near both entrances and the extremely rude moped drivers think they have right-of-way on the sidewalks over pedestrians. The property interior was very nice but many of the facilities (bar, lounge bar, etc.) were closed for renovation. Rooms and service were very good to excellent.

The hotel was clean and service was good. But they showed me 3 non-smoking rooms and all of them had smell of smoking. I had to open window and turn off air-conditioning as I suspect the smell came from the air-conditioning tunnel. They need to clean the carpets to remove the smell..

It was good to have access on metro or taxi. For me I was wonder in this hotel at reception nobody speaking average English. Shanghai is international bay.internet was slow.

The rooms are fine. However, The fitness center does not have much equipment in it. There are no hand weights at all. The breakfast was a huge Buffett, but I had trouble getting the attention of the staff to get coffee.
