Nice Cabin

The house was clean, all appliances used worked, good location for hitting Cades Cove, Townsend, and Pigeon Forge. Proximity to the Foothills Parkway is a nice benefit. External outlet for charging our EV.

Who would ever think?

Who would ever think high in the mountains of East Tennessee that a hurricane from the gulf would affect our family getaway? Communication with our superstar host was a godsend. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, we had to postpone. We can't wait to book again and will definitely stay with our host.

Best experience!

Our stay was amazing. What made my whole vacation was a bear came and hung out right in front of the porch for about 20 minutes. The cabin was very family oriented. The board games are tore up so if you play games as a family bring your own. The arcade games my kids loved! Overall it was the best place! We enjoyed our stay and being in contact with someone was very fast. Recommend 10/10!!

Nothing bad to say

From the moment we walked in the door it felt like home. Our kids really enjoyed the arcade games, pool table, and hot tub. The hot tub was especially nice for me being 31 weeks pregnant, i was able to relieve some swollen ankles and achey body after hiking mountains, caves and walking all day through Gatlinburg.The cabin was in close proximity to everything we wanted to do and with beautiful views. The host was very attentive, making sure to let us know if needed anything. 5 stars! Thank you for being a great place to rest our bodies and making our last family vacation as a family of 5 amazing!

Great Stay in The Smokies

This cabin, just outside the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, was perfect for our family! The check-in process was smooth, the view was terrific, the kids loved the game room, and we loved the hot tub and deck. This cabin is also really well located. We were centered well, making it easy to get to several hikes east of Gatlinburg and further southwest by Cade's Cove. The kids loved the vacation and we hope this cabin is available next time we head to the Smokies! Overall great stay!

This was seriously the perfect cabin. The games kept the kids busy while we were spending time inside. Everything was very clean and had all the essentials we needed in the kitchen. Internet worked great and overall just a great place to stay.

Fall Break

The cabin and area were fantastic! Remote enough to be away from the crowded streets but close enough to get to the attractions within 20 minutes. Will definitely stay again!

Ryan was very nice and quick to respond with any questions. He also offered us another night at a nice rate. Which we accepted because we were going to stay another night somewhere. I have never had that happen before and We have stayed at many cabins. My husband and my friend’s husband loved the car racing arcade game. They were like 2 teenagers. The back porch doesn’t have very good view of mountains but is wooded. We had great time. I told Ryan that the living room sofa needed an upgrade lol but the arcade room had nice sofa. The stairs going downstairs was easy to come up and down. Plenty of stair to step on. Great cabin for 2 couples needing own space during bedtime. Bedroom upstairs and bedroom downstairs both with bathrooms. Is well water but was fine did not have any bad taste or smell. I would recommend

Below Average

The cabin was not clean as expected and there was no a grill which we had planned to use to save money and not eat out. On the other hand the host was very nice and easy to work with. We were just overall disappointed for the cost of it.

Great Quiet Cabin

This was a great cabin, very clean and just as it appeared in the pictures. It was in a beautiful quiet location but close to the activities the area has to offer. Communication host was easy and very detailed. Would recommend this cabin and look forward to a return visit in the future.

Great little cabin

Overall things were as expected. The view off the balcony is pretty wooded. Across the street tou have full views. We had several bears very near. The fishing area is more if a bluegill pond and the pool has short hours which is beyond the owners control. The beds were a little stiff but no bed is ever like your own. We absolutely would rent the cabin again.

Quick family trip

Great cabin, nice and clean and roomy. On the “quiet” side of the smokies close to Townsend and easy drive to PF and Gatlinburg. Visit from bears 2 of our 3 days.

Great Experience!

We called this cozy cabin our “treehouse” because it’s surrounded by trees and was very comfortable for our four adults and four children. The cabin had everything we needed. Love the Wears Valley area because it’s a short drive (20-30 min) from the busy areas of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Lots of bear encounters including a cub! Host was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

The Climbing Bear was as advertised. Our family of five had plenty of space, loved the pool table, hot tub, and arcade games. We felt secluded in the woods, and Ryan gave us all the necessary info for a great stay!

Amazing Stay

My wife and I stayed here for a few days for our 10th wedding anniversary. I must say that everything was perfect. The cabin was beautiful and the location amazing being just a few minutes from Pigeon Forge. The owner was attentive and regularly checked in to ensure that our stay was exceeding expectations. We will definitely be back.
