I would avoid this property and this host at all costs. In hindsight, we have found many similar reviews for these properties and the owner/rental company. I would recommend doing your due diligence. The major issue here is cleanliness of the pool and hot tub. Several of our guests, including children, received swimmers rash which lasted several weeks due to an unsanitary and underchlorinated pool. This is a health and safety issue which VRBO seemed unconcerned with (their support is terrible). The host offered us 20% refund for the nights which the issue occurred (i.e. 20% off two nights, which would have amounted to about 80 total. A laughable amount). Besides this, the listing also mentions that the hot tub is completely emptied and cleaned each time. We noticed on two occasions that the cabins on either side of ours were not emptied. The cleaning staff simply put a hose in and let the water overflow the hot tub. We received an email from the host before check-in that "some college kids" had recently stayed there and messed the place up. Other reviews we found noted that they've been sending this same email our for months. There was construction debris everywhere (a sawhorse and car part in the front "lawn". Kitchen cabinets were missing handles (lol) and there were paint droppings, loose towel racks, etc throughout. Just a complete lack of care in my opinion.
