Amazing 3 bed ocean front condo, Seven Mile Beach
Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is at Plantation Village, centrally located at the southern end of Seven Mile Beach, about 10 minutes from the airport and within walking distance of bars, restaurants, attractions and amenities. It’s on the third (top) floor accessible by stairs. Please note, and as can be read in the press, Seven Mile Beach has been suffering a serious erosion problem for several years. The entire southern end of Seven Mile where the condo is situated is affected. We do however have a year round small sandy cove at Plantation facing directly onto the ocean with ocean access for snorkeling and swimming. But, if beaches are your passion, you may want to look at resorts north of here. The condo, the largest floor plan in the development at about 1,500 sq ft, could not be closer to the crystal clear ocean and has amazing views from its third-floor balcony. Patio furniture includes a 6-seat table and an outdoor sectional sofa with a pull-out base that converts into a day bed for those relaxing days when chilling out and absorbing the view is the #1 priority. Inside is a tastefully decorated large open plan living area with a panoramic view, widescreen HD TV with plenty of room for everyone on the large sofas. In the Master Bedroom there is a super-comfortable king size bed, HD TV and en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower. The second bedroom features twin beds and the third bedroom, overlooking the beach, features a queen size double bed and en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Other features include a washer/dryer and a safe for valuables. As seasoned vacation renters ourselves we know how disappointing it is to arrive and find tired accommodation with mismatched, second hand equipment. That’s why we when we renovated we decided to do a proper job, renewing virtually everything. Outside Plantation Village boasts two large pools – one with a sea view immediately under our balcony, and an even larger pool in the middle of the complex. There is also free wifi, a tennis and pickle ball court and two large BBQ grill stations, one a stone’s throw from the condo, and a kids’ play area with a climbing frame and swings. There is a tennis/pickle ball court too. We live on island and are regular visitors to the complex, even sitting on the strata committee. Kayaks, bikes and paddle boards are available from the resort at no charge and there is a dive gear cleaning station for scuba divers. You can snorkel in front of the complex (including to the Marriott’s artificial reef which attracts abundant fish and marine life) and beach loungers and umbrellas are provided for shade. A short walk away is the Marriott Hotel with a full range of watersports and great restaurants. The condo is on West Bay Road and is on the bus route if you don’t want to rent a car though we would recommend a rental. Camana Bay with its cinema, shops and restaurants is a 15-minute walk, as are Kirks and Fosters the nearest large supermarkets. The resort office can organize any tours such as diving, Rum Point or Stingray City. Check in is very easy - the resort office is open 7 days a week during office hours and will check you in and hand out hotel style key cards. Out of hours the night security will do the same. We do our best to accommodate early check-ins and late check outs (at no extra cost) so please just ask and we will do our best to work this out. Change over day in peak season can be a challenge but with advance notice we can usually sort this out.
