A true Grand Budapest Hotel experience in Italy

The hotel is located on the edge of the mountain overlooking Santa Cristina in the heart of the Dolomites, and reaching it by gondola is a bit daunting but adds to the sense of entering a magical space. Every level offers astounding views at all times of day. You step out of the door directly onto the ski runs or a lift connecting you to the rest of the area. (Be warned, however, that the runs nearby are suitable only for intermediate or better skiers.) The staff are welcoming and helpful, the food is uniformly excellent, and the spa facilities are wonderfully rejuvenating after a day on the slopes.

Das Standard-Einzelzimmer war das mit Abstand schlechteste, das ich bisher erlebt habe. Das Zimmer extrem klein - eigentlich eine möblierte Abstellkammer, Kein Stuhl, kein Tisch, keine Steckdose an der Bettablage zum nächtlichen Laden des Telefons, kein Wandhaken für die Ski Jacke/Hose, nicht einmal ein Halterung für das Toilettenpapier. Der Wunsch nach einem anderen Einzelzimmer hätte (trotz leerem Haus mit 6 weiteren Gästen) mich für 1 Woche €360,- Aufpreis gekostet. Im Hotel ist nichts ausgeschildert - man muss sich zum Restaurant durchfragen. Dieses ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und mit der hervorragenden Qualität des Essens sehr zu empfehlen! Die Bedienung ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Der große Aufenthaltsraum ist ebenfalls gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet, die Anreise mit der Gondelbahn zur Mittelstation des Saslong etwas aufwändig, aber gut machbar. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit. Ich persönlich werde dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen - es gibt zum gleichen Preis deutlich bessere Unterkünfte. Auch in Wolkenstein und St. Christina.

Traumhaftes Skihotel an der legendären Saslong

Gemütliche Atmosphäre, sehr nettes Personal, super Service, phantastisches Essen, hervorragende Weinempfehlung. absolute Ruhe in der Nacht. Traumhafter Blick. 10 m zum Skilift. Die Saslong ein Erlebnis.

Eigentlich sehr schönes, komfortables und auch stilvolles Hotel mitten auf der Weltcupabfahrt. Allerdings scheint man aktuell low budget zu fahren: Ungenügend ausgebildetes und eingewiesenes Personal, was insbesondere auf die Servicekräfte (nicht Zimmermädchen) zutrifft. Niemand weiss wirklich Bescheid. Passte überhaupt nicht zu einem 4-Sterne-Hotel. Zudem bei den Getränken insbesondere auch im Vergleich zu sämtlichen Hütten im Ort oder auf der Piste überteuerte Preise. Beispiel: Aperol 8 Euro zu 4 Euro überall sonst. Ähnliches gilt für die angebotenen Weine. Und wir hatten Vergleichsmöglichkeiten. An Sylvester gab es noch nicht einmal ein Glas Sekt auf's Haus sondern man wurde gefragt, ob man eine Flasche Champagner bestellen wolle für Mitternacht. Enttäuschend / irritierend. Eine Feier selbst fand ohnehin nicht statt, auch wenn man mir vorab am Tel. gesagt hatte, dass alles organisiert sei. Die Bar war um 24:00 noch nicht einmal besetzt! Schade, zumal eigentlich die Grundvoraussetzungen (schöne Einrichtung / tolle Lage) gegeben sind.

Perfektes Hotel für Ski- und Snowboard-Touristen

Sehr schöne Lage (direkt an der Piste). Freundlicher Service. Kleiner aber feiner SPA-Bereich. Das Essen (Halbpension) war auch gut. Anreise (mit Gondelbahn) war etwas mühsam (v.a. mit viel Gepäck). Ansonsten: Super-Urlaub (v.a. mit Kids).

Albergo in ottima posizione e ben servito. Panorami splendidi buoni i servizi. Camera poco spaziosa e con finestra troppo piccola che non consente di ammirare il panorama. Ottima la pulizia, personale molto gentile e disponibile. Cibo non male

Vacanza fantastica

Siamo stati ospiti dell'hotel per la seconda volta e come la prima siamo stati benissimo! La spa è sempre molto accogliente e ben tenuta,il personale gentilissimo e la cucina ottima!! La posizione è perfetta per una vacanza sugli sci e per godersi la vista sulle piste innevate e sulla cima del Sasslong durante la cena!

Kvällsvistelse i byn omöjlig

Genom att hotellet är beläget i backen, så omöjliggörs vistelse i byn efter 1700 eftersom liften slutar gå då. Hotellet har halvpension, vilket ju är nödvändigt när det inte finns några alternativ.

Inte första och sista gången vi besökte hotellet!

Vi besökte hotellet för tredje året i rad. I år med några vänner som vi lockat med med löfte om ett perfekt läge mitt i backen och utsökt mat. De blev inte besvikna! Det är inga problem att ta sig upp till hotellet med kabinen. Det är samma ägarfamilj och de är mycket hjälpsamma och ser till att allt kommer med. Att vara först ut i backen är en stor fördel och när skiddagen är slut slipper man den sista, ofta uppkörda, nedfarten. I stället går man direkt och lägger sig i jazzucin!

Det perfekta skidhotellet mitt i backen!

Bodde andra året på Hotell Socher. Främst beroende på det perfekta läget mitt i backen och den goda maten. Härligt att kunna ställa in skidorna i skidgaraget och sedan direkt besöka jacuzzin och bastun. I och med läget vinner man en timme på morgonen och är först ut i de nypistade backarna. Skidområdet är i princip oändligt och man kan ge sig ut på långa skidfärder. Se till att inte missa sista liften bara. Lätt att ge sig ner till byn för att shoppa någon eftermiddag. Men även där se till att inte missa den sista kabinen 16.45.

Fantastiskt hotell i fantastisk skidort.

Fantastiskt hotell. Mitt i backen och nära Sella Ronda systemet. Frukost och middag utmärkt med mycket hög klass. Enda nackdelen är att man behöver åka lift till hotellet. Första liften går 8.00 och sista liften 19.00. Vill man satsa på skidåkning och god mat är detta rätt hotell!

Perfekt läge mitt i backen!

Hotellet (fyrstjärnigt) ligger mitt i backen på 2000 meters höjd. Det betyder att man har perfekt läge för skidåkning. Först i backen i nypistade backar och ett fantastiskt utgångsläge för skidåkning i hela Val Gardena och Sella Ronda. För att nå hotellet måste man åka kabinbana från St Christina vilket var väldigt smidigt då liftpersonalen var mycket hjälpsamma. Väl upp vid hotellet är det bara några steg runt hörnet och så är man inne på hotellet. Eleganta rum med tygtapeter. Stort sällskapsrum. Härlig jacuzzi från klockan 16.00 och med tre olika typer av bastu att välja på. Varje kväll på givet klockslag serveras en fyrarätters gourmetmiddag. Frukosten är helt ok och typisk italiensk. Det vill säga en hel del söta bakverk att välja på. Det som möjligtvis kan vara störande är att man på vissa kvällar spelar musik vid uteserveringen i samband med kvällsskidåkningen. Hur som helst är hotell Sochers Club ett hotell som man gärna återkommer till med tanke på den fantastiska maten och skidåkningen.

Uitstekend hotel op skipiste

Ons verblijf in de Sochers Club op de piste bij San Cristina was uiterst aangenaam. De staf was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zowel het ontbijt als het avondeten waren uitstekend. De kamer was prettig, de bedden goed. Het hotel beschikt over een kleine wellness ruimte. Na het skiën was het daar goed toeven. Omdat het hotel op de piste ligt, was het er heel erg rustig.
