We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Marceron City Lake House. Our host, Krista, was super helpful and responsive. She really looked out for us, from help with the booking, to using the shared laundry facilities, to giving us a heads up that they were predicting high winds and power outages one night. It’s a basement apartment but has a surprising and welcome number of windows and natural light. We were there late December so really short, cold, overcast/rainy days but the apartment was warm and pleasant. It’s laid out well and both the bedroom bed and the sofa bed were very comfortable. It’s a short walk, through lovely neighborhoods, to Lake Washington and great outdoor spaces with views of the Cascades and Mt. Rainier. It’s also a 5-minute walk to a Safeway and other shops, which was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Seattle.
