Jones E. Carriage House has it all; great location, dog friendly, luxury appointments, and off street parking with private entrance. The private entrance is from the lane behind our property. It's an easy walk to everywhere from here. Rents fast, so don't hesitate or your date will be gone. Experience the wonder of Savannah as it was meant to be explored on foot. This spacious, one room living area has everything you and your dog need to enjoy downtown Savannah. For those without Dogs we are people friendly as well. Jones E. carriage house has just been renovated and is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated.

SPECIAL NOTE: The Carriage House Is Only allowed by code to sleep TWO ADULTS plus children as of 2018. (two in a queen bed and the third using a our deluxe EZ bed ) The bed is a deluxe electrically powered inflatable bed with a nice padded cover. The bed is at normal height and on legs when fully inflated. You will need to deflate the bed during the day to move freely in the room.

Experience a fully stocked kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless appliances. The bed is queen size and there is an electric fireplace for a romantic ambiance with or without running the heater. Watch a flatscreen HDTV, read, or play games. Cook in, or take a short walk to one of the wonderful restaurants within a ten minute leisurely walk. You name it, this kitchen has it. Keurig coffee pot, toaster, cookware, bakeware and basic supplies such as oils and spices. High quality linens are included along with a hair dryer, shampoo, soaps, lotions, iron and ironing board.

The courtyard is shared with us and our dog (Freddie). Former guests will remember our amazing Dog Gus who was such a delight and a great greeter of all guests human and canine. Gus has gone to doggie heaven as of April 2025 and our new Pup Freddie has taken over his role. We live in the main house. The courtyard is complete with fountain and perfect for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. You might catch us using our Big Green Egg for our outdoor cooking and would be happy to share our hot coals with you. As native Californians we use wine for cooking, drinking and making new friends. You will have private access to the carriage house from the lane. There is plenty of free parking on the street. Just be mindful of street sweeping hours.

Jones E. Carriage House is walking distance to everything in historic downtown Savannah. Have coffee in the courtyard then walk 2 blocks to the famous Clary's Cafe on E. Jones St. Stroll a few more beautiful blocks for shopping or dining at the landmark restaurant of Mrs. Wilkes' Dining Room. Enjoy all the festivities Forsyth Park has to offer just a few blocks away. From the carriage house walk up Habersham St. through several lovely squares to River Street. Just as easily walk to City Market or to any of the many wonderful restaurants along the way. And of course the local dog park is just 1 block away! If you do run out of energy at the end of a long day, you simply need to hail one of the numerous Pedi-Cabs to bring you back home.

Jones E. Carriage House is perfect for anyone who is looking for a getaway and doesn't want to leave their dog at home. Stay for a long weekend or an entire week. You will love it. For a time my Husband and I worked as secret shoppers for the Ritz Carlton Hotel chain. Our job was to use all of the hotel services as undercover guests and report back to the management to help them maintain their 5 star rating.
