My room was directly behind a Denny's restaurant. Traffic and noise levels were moderate, but quieted down after 10 pm. The front desk is staffed all the time so obtaining assistance for even minor problems is easy.

When I made the reservation on-line, the pictures looked like an actual Wyndgan hotel property. After I checked in and entered the room, I was appalled by the following: Door to unit was severely damaged on the bottom and could potentially let in bugs or small animals. Curtains on window did not cover the glass and somebody could actually look into my room if the light was on. Bed linens were clean and mattress was comfortable, but the furniture and bathroom were very shabby. I did not feel safe at this hotel, so as soon as I brought my things inside, I locked the door and didn't go out until the morning. There was a lot of banging or hammering close to my unit after dark and that led to my feeling of not being safe. I noticed a sign on the wall at checkout that indicated this hotel is independantly owned and not actually a Wyndham Hotel.

I appreciated that they are trying to make the rooms better by using higher end material (granite in the bathroom, pergo type flooring), but it didn’t look professionally done. The floor made our feet very dirty. Beds looked clean. Two outlets did not work and on one of them, the wires were pulled out from the wall. They got people in to fix it, but we asked to be moved to another room. White bedspread had dirt on it.

I did not feel safe, room looked clean at a glance but upon closer inspection, not so much, really needs some repairs and or updating, air didn't work right, curtains were dirty, door was dirty, bathroom was weird with random tiles patches and uneven floor, really not great for almost $100/nt rate. Girl at front desk was nice.

Unfortunately, my experience was ruining due to the roaches. It is true. This building is infested horribly. I woke up at 3 AM to roaches crawling on me. The hotel was very helpful and refunded me with no problems. The area is amazing the options nearby. The hotel is amazing and about 20 minutes away from the beach. Perfect location, awesome staff, but there is definitely a need for an exterminator
