nice spacious room, we had the unit in the back, which isn't as renovated and without an ocean view, but really private and cute, with access to a private backyard . had everything we needed, wifi was great, hot water was not super hot but was comfortable for the shower. i really recommend this place and this area if you are visiting Aruba.

The checkin process was difficult. In the checkin instructions on hotels.com which I didn't read state that you need to message them 24 hours in advance to get your check in instructions. Of course we didn't so we show up and it's not like a normal hotel with a reception desk so we didn't know what to do. I called the phone number on the contact page and of course it didn't work. It had a link to message them so I did and I got no immediate response. We decided to go to dinner while we waited and about 45 minutes later we got a response that the manager would meet us there in 30 min and she did and we got into our room. That was a little unnerving but when we got into the room it was full of mosquitos. Luckily the manager was still there so they moved us to another room which was fine, no mosquitos. The bad part is the new room was booked for the next day so we had to move to another room which wasted our vacation time but it was also good and mosquito free. So the place isn't perfect but they try to take care of you. The price was pretty good but you have to know it comes with less services. Would I recommend the place? Maybe, it depends on your budget and risk tolerance. The location is awesome. The Mangel Halto beach is amazing and you are steps from it.

This is an spacious apartment, wonderful access to the beach and gorgeous sunsets. That being said, we reached out to the owner 3x regarding no wifi and hot water, we looked for the manager, but had no contact info to reach him, daily room service is not provided. if you need maid service you have to go find her. We spent half our trip with no wifi and hot water, and days without clean towels. With better communication this can be a great spot, wonderful parking and outside patios. This was our 3rd trip and 3rd apartment in that area, we are familiar with island wifi and its challenges, but communication is key with any apartment rental. And unfortunately we had none. Would have loved to stay here again if things were just a bit easier.
