Adorable 2 bed/ 2 bath 1400 square foot home located in Sarasota, FL. This property is located west of US 41 and approximately 1 mile to the south bridge of Siesta Key with close access to beaches. You will love the proximity to Siesta Key without having to get stuck in traffic any time you go on or off the island! Enjoy a quiet residential neighborhood which is great for walking while having restaurants, shops, and attractions all at your fingertips. Walk down the street to the intercoastal where you can enjoy a sunset or fishing off the sea wall. There is a public park nearby (Phillippi Estate Park) as well within walking distance (enjoy a farmers market during season). Enjoy the enclosed patio area with private pool and outdoor seating. The pool can be heated for an additional fee of $20 per day, please let host know prior to arrival if you would like this turned on as it does take a day to get to desired temps. Nature lovers will love the large tropical backyard filled with trees and chirping birds. Enjoy a small outdoor patio table under the string lights or cook s’mores under the stars in the outdoor fire pit. Beautiful original terrazzo floors through with open kitchen floor plan. 1 dog allowed with prior owner approval and paid pet fee. Dog must be over 1 year old and well mannered. Please keep off furniture and pick up after. The home's water supply is on a well and although we do have a filtration system/softener, we do not recommend drinking the water for taste reasons. The water is perfectly fine for cooking, bathing, washing dishes, brushing teeth, etc..but we suggest bringing spring water to drink. Enjoy 2 complimentary beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, & a cooler for a relaxing day at the beach! We have an electric pump so bring a raft too! * Please note there is a 25 foot RV parked off to the side in driveway (this is not in use during your stay or occupied, only parked there).

Family Reunion

Cottage style! Love this home. Usually where I stay I don’t really take in what the place has to offer. This is home is a vacation within a vacation. We enjoyed BBQing, the pool, relaxing in the hammock. We connected and felt relaxed and safe. Our purpose was to attend a family reunion that was an easy 20 minutes to get to. Both Carrie and Flynt were wonderful hosts. We definitely returning back!

“Absolutely loved my stay at this cute Florida house in Sarasota! The host was lovely, kind, and so accommodating — made everything easy and stress-free. My family of four loved this vacation home. We have a 14 year old and a 12 year old plus a small dog and this home was perfect for us. My daughter loved the pool and my husband enjoyed the bikes. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. You are only a mile from the south bridge to Siesta Key. We would definitely stay again and will recommend to others. Thanks Carrie!

Loved the place, loved the neighborhood, loved the pool, loved the short drive to Siesta Key. It was nice to come home to a quiet relaxing place after a day on Siesta Key. Carrie was very responsive. There are always issues an how quickly they get resolved is everything. My issues were so minor but Carrie addressed immediately. I will be back!

Our Sarasota trip

We had a great time in this rental and the host was very accommodating. It’s very close to everything and just the right size for a small family. The pool is relaxing, the amenities are nice (like beach chairs, umbrella, coolers and more), it’s a clean house with beautiful trees and plants in the yard. The neighborhood is in a great location where you can easily drive to the beaches and come back to the house during the hot part of the day to relax. The traffic on the main roads in the immediate area does get pretty crowded but it’s nice that everything is so close, you do have to drive far. We did contact the host and she responded right away to help us.
