Built in 1929, literally into the volcanic rock, nestled in the quiet village of Megalochori in the island of Santorini, Villa Orpheus is a fully renovated cave house rendering the perfect setting for indulging holidays and romantic escapes for one or two couples that seek relaxation and tranquility.Villa Orpheus is a Cycladic-style villa. Half of the house is built into the volcanic rock. The main entrance wooden door that leads to a beautiful courtyard with built in sofas and a heated outdoor covered plunge pool gives a short idea of the minimal luxury that characterizes the Villa Orpheus. Leaving the courtyard and entering the main house we see that the marble floor, the beautiful colors together with the carefully picked furniture offer a unique atmosphere that mixes scents from the past and contemporary comfort and luxury. The original structure has been sensitively renovated. Restored to its original splendor, retaining the original layout and features, the gracious proportions and weathered building materials tell a real story and create the charm of this property.

Inside the property there are lots of modern amenities including satellite TV, DVD player and iPod docking station can be found inside so you can relax in the evenings as you would at home if you so desire. Facilities include air conditioning, a flat-screen TV. Free WiFi is also available.
