I stayed at this villa from 5th to 12th September, and my experience was completely unacceptable for the price paid. From the moment we arrived, the villa was infested with ants — they were in our bed, suitcases, and throughout the rooms. We spent hours trying to clear them out, which ruined our holiday.What made this worse was that the issue was clearly known beforehand. There was insect spray left in the villa, and dead ants in the corners, showing that the problem had been there for some time and the property had not been properly cleaned or inspected before our arrival. No guest should be expected to stay in these conditions.The washing machine was filthy and looked unsafe to use, and many window screens were ripped, meaning we couldn’t open windows without letting in more insects. Overall, the villa was poorly maintained and not fit for guests.When I contacted the owner after my stay, instead of taking responsibility, they tried to blame me for not calling during the week — as if it’s the guest’s fault that the property wasn’t prepared to a basic standard. Moving villas mid-holiday wasn’t a realistic solution; the problem is that this one should never have been rented out in the first place.This experience made us feel uncomfortable and disappointed throughout our stay. For the amount of money charged, this villa is not up to standard, and the customer service afterwards has been dismissive.It may look nice in photos, but the reality is very different.
