Customer service was horrible, room was bad with horrible bed, a big butt ugly tv with no chanels to watch every morning they cut off the water, couldn't take shower every morning, electricity was out for half day one of three days i was there. They charge my credit card twice different amount at location fighting to get one charge back now. Will never step foot in that crappy horrible place again. Thank God I was only there for 3 days, 3 very frustrating days.

I have stayed at this resort in the past & since then I noticed some good changes. The property is not bad at all for a resort that is located so close to the city. We had a nice weekend stay, food at the snack bar was ok, better at the buffet with a good amount of choices. Our room was great located in the lower level with direct access to the pool & beach this made for a nice easy stay. my biggest complain here is the towel situation you need to leave a $20 deposit per towel which u do get back but getting the towels was a pain since they were never ready when they told u it would be. overall for a short stay this is decent place.

Door was stock, bathroom shower head broken, the humidity smell was awful... so bad I go sick, it was so hard to sleep and rest with the smell and the air conditioner that wasn't working property. I paid for an amazing room and got a room in a different part of the hotel with this horrifying conditions. The light when off, we had a hole day with no water and the toilet didn't flush properly. I talk to few employees and nobody was able to help me just a terrible attitude and when they saw I was losing my voice and it was serious that I was sick and I wasn't before I got there they called the Manager like I requested. They use a machine for humidity and fix the smell, but nothing else. They didn't have a nice or decent room available for me even when I speared and pay in full six months before I got there. I think I am not even describing our nightmare correctly. It was the worst "vacations" ever.

Well I’ve been to the be live in punta cana once and love it but this be live was a completely different experience. First off there was no order to check in, check out nothing people were just cutting the line. So finally I get my room key after being on a line for about half an hour just to check in. All the bars aren’t all inclusive only the ones that have cheap liquor called Classico which is something they made up I’m assuming since not even the staff knows where it comes from. We get to the room 425 and instantly we notice the issue the ac didn’t work or the water. We called they told us they send someone up (the person never came) we left the room cake back the ac was still not working or the ceiling fan in the peak of the heat in the Dominican Heat. After hours of going back and forth these ppl about refunding my money or changing my room they changed the room. Mind you room from 401-425 all had no ac everyone was complaining. We got another room 1826 had a broken bed which we fixed no cold water in the sink and the shower head had to be put a certain way to work. Needless to say I was done with vacation. The real Dominican liquor they don’t give you unless you’re vip. This over all experience was bad I wouldn’t waste my time or money staying in la hamaca.

Unfortunately this Hotel was one of my favorite everytime that I visited the Dominican Republic. This time this Hotel was awful.. our stay 11 days... half pf the time without electricity, no water in the room.. no cable.. smell like terrible. The food horrible I think that they heat leftover for the next day . I saw a lot of people leaving the hotel because the same purpose.. I asked for a refund or a room change, after 4 days i got the room change this time with hot water only not cold, the air conditioning thinking that I was in Alaska.... horribleeee worse 11 days.. I wont recommend this hotel at all in these conditions.. people pay a lot to a deserve vacation not to get frustrated.. I hope to hear from someone.. Thanks!!

We had to get our room changed because they gave us a room with many problems. I didn’t like the length of time we had to wait to get the problem addressed. Overall it was a satisfactory experience. Food and entertainment was amazing. The resort is outdated they need some sprucing up. Instead of plastic cups for adult drinks; glass would be more appealing. As a non-smoker I was uncomfortable with the heavy smoking that was taking place all over the resort. There should be some consideration for non-smokers and kids since it is a family resort.
