I have stayed here in the past but I won't be coming back. The staff was friendly but very hard to find. I had to hunt someone down mutiple times The "front desk" number is not monitored nor is anyone avaliable when issues arise. The bathroom was very dirty. Black substances in the corners of the tub and tile. The room was very dark as half of the light bulbs were burnt out. Normally the room comes with a wristband for bowling but they didnt include that since they were charging $25 an hour per person since it was new years eve. Around 130am a drunk man started pounding on all the doors and berating with a small child in the hallway. This continued until 330am when I finally found someone in the bar to help. The man was smoking pot in the hallway so my room smelled like weed and so did all of my clothes. The staff while nice didnt seem to care about how this guest was disturbing the other guests well after the appropriate new years hoopla. I'm all for having a good time but noje of this trip was fun. It used to be a cute place to stay and I didn’t mind the outdated bathrooms previously.

Awesome room, plenty of space. Complimentary beer and wine. Stayed here twice for Cedar Point trip and will continue to book with them. Very convenient with the restaurant connected and they gave us a free game of bowling!

Not Family Friendly Hotel

This hotel was a not really family friendly. In fact I’m not sure I’d consider it a hotel. It’s more of an entertainment complex with some rooms. It’s very close to Cedar Point but there is no hotel lobby and it’s hard to find the check in as it is literally a desk inside the door of a bar and gambling hall. If you are looking for a nice entrance, you will miss it. We showed up late after our trip to Cedar Point and I had children with me. I had to walk them through the bar and gambling area to get to our room. It was a bit uncomfortable. The woman woman who check us in seemed indifferent and was eating a push pop the entire time helping us. The rooms are kitschy with the stable theme. Definitely not big enough for 5. Luckily we were just sleeping. The bed was comfortable but there were 3 of us sleeping in a double. Luckily we are a close family. The booking said good for 5. The room cleanliness was ok. They did offer a free bottle of wine and beer. Probably to help get over the shock of the “lobby”. We noticed a fake finger nail on the bathroom floor so probably not deeply cleaned.

Incredible place, 2 casual sports bars, bowling alley, axe throwing, video games, OTB & Sportsbook, with the hotel inside. Awesome experience & we loved the horse theme! We will be back for sure.
